"This place is very welcoming and efficient. The staff can't do enough for you. The food is excellent, but unfortunately, we were only able to eat there on our first night. We wanted to do so again, but they don't cook on Bank Holidays. We weren't told this in advance, which is the only slight negative about our stay. . "

"The property did provide limited car parking which was useful. Maybe next time though I should read the entry better as this isnt a Bed and Breakfast (B&B as stated clearly in the title). They no longer provide breakfasts which was slightly inconvenient especially as there was no kettle in the room. "

"We booked the Paddocks which had a self contained very well equipped kitchen in an enclosed courtyard It provided a very comfortable overnight stay. We couldnt fault it. We arrived early as we had booked Sunday lunch at the George which was excellant and Wayne allowed us to leave our car there. Wayne was very friendly and not intrusive at all. "Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. Thoroughly recommended. "

"Highly recommend The Clock Tower. It has that rare combination of being off the beaten track yet accessible to everywhere. It feels like a charming family home yet has all the facilities you could hope for from a high end hotel. Beautiful Rooms, generous en-suite bathrooms and luxury toiletries.
