"We stayed here while in town for a work conference and could not have been more impressed. The house was even more beautiful in person than the photos suggest, and it was clear that no detail had been overlooked. Everything was thoughtfully appointed and made for an incredibly comfortable stay. Doug is the consummate host and made the entire experience feel seamless from start to finish. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Hotel was updated clean and new staff was very nice and suggested things to do in Beaver Dam area My only problem was that the pool area was so strong of chlorine smell that I couldn’t participate in swimming with my grandson because it affected my breathing , with that being said I feel that an exhaust system should be installed to make the pool area safer ! We come to beaver dam to visit our grandson and I might have to rethink staying at Comfort inn because I enjoy swimming with my grandson and because of this issue I can’t . Disappointed because I really liked the hotel . Sincerely, Tamara "

"The person checking us in was wonderful and helpful. The hotel on the other hand is due for some renovation. The room was beat up and the toilet had a ring in it like it hadn’t been used in quite some time. It was very cold in the room we turned up the heat and couldn’t tell if it was doing anything. Went to the front desk was informed there were space heaters that needed to be turned on. She also attempted to clean the toilet but it needed more attention than she could give. Don’t believe the website I believe it’s from the previous owners the bar is closed on the property. All in all it was okay but a far cry from years gone by. "

"The property overall was fairly good, needed some cosmetic work, molding coming off on the furniture in the bedroom. Other than that, the room was very nice. However, we stayed there because of the pool and hot tub and both were in inadequate shape. My adult children and their children tried to swim, but it was somewhat slimy and you could clearly see mold on both the hot tub and the pool. I did talk to the person behind the desk and they said they were having a part come in to fix the situation. Hopefully that is accurate. I’m a positive note. The breakfast was wonderful and overall had a good stay."

"This place accommodated all of our needs for our week spent there. Very clean, clear and easy to follow instructions. Comfortably slept 20 grown adults. Would highly recommend. "

"Clean facility and room. Friendly staff. Dog stayed comfortably. There is no bar though. It’s prominently displayed in their Hotels.com ad, but I actually found the room and it’s being used as storage."
