The House is lovely- Edwardian, with high ceilings, and wonderful parquet floors. It’s two blocks away from the river and downtown. The bedroom was comfortable; the bathroom was huge and luxurious. The couple who own the house and run the B&B are extremely good at what they do - friendly, charming, and super-efficient. It was an elegant and enjoyable experience.

I was in town for a wedding and instead of going with the room block at the local hotel, I chose this place instead. I love staying in historic homes and this one was one of the best I have ever stayed in. Not only are the accommodations on point: cozy, comfortable and lots of attention to detail, but the hosts are amazing. Stay with Keri, Pete and their dog Maggie. You will not be disappointed. And they serve a great breakfast! It was a fab getaway spot for the weekend.

Beautifully restored bed and breakfast

The Katherine Holle house is absolutely beautiful. I love how there is so much of the original home lovingly restored. The room was extremely comfortable and I had the best night’s sleep ever. It is within easy walking distance to downtown and restaurants.

Peaceful getaway

Keri and Pete are amazing host! we were gretted when we arrived almost like we were family and not just guests. given a breif tour, they provided a list of their favorite restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was delicious! room was perfect. Bed extremely comfortable. Our children got us the extra package, #4,. Keri put it together beautifully and Pete picked the perfect wine. Would love to go again in the future.

We stayed there for 2 nights in December. The home has been renewed in the period style with all of the amazing woodwork and fixtures taking you back to a simpler time. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was freshly made to our request. Our hosts were a delight and met our every need. We will return.

Family affair

Owners were very friendly and helpful and live on site. The breakfast was outstanding. We had other family members staying there as well so we had the house pretty much to ourselves. It's a 3 story Victorian style house nicely decorated. The bedrooms and beds were vert conformable. I would most definitely stay there again.

Very nice. Easy to find. Couple running the B and B were very personable and accommodating . We had an appointment that would make us arrive late and they were very nice to allow us early check in. Bed was a little soft to my taste but overall a great stay. Breakfast was very good. Friend puppy Maggie. I would recommend this B and B to others.

AMAZING B&B experience!!! Don’t think twice about booking here. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was the best! Awesome comfy bed, super soft bedding and towels, truffles on the bedside table, and many other extras I’ve not seen elsewhere. The tub was AWESOME! Lights, jets, warming jets, etc. Everything was super clean and inviting. Pete and Keri are awesome hosts- warm and kind, very detail-oriented. The breakfast was top-notch and not to be missed. Yummy local coffees, fresh fruit, belgium waffles, fluffy eggs, bacon… it was a hit. We will definitely be back!

Nice, warm and nostalgic.

Our stay at The Katherine Holle House was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay. It was about 5 minutes from the venue where we were performing. There was some outside remodeling going on that in no way hindered our stay. The owners are downright lovely people and the breakfast was delicious. The decor takes you back to when times were simple and people were neighborly. The location puts you in close proximity to major highways and interstates and seemed to be quiet when we were there. Restaurants in the area are limited but also have an atmosphere of “the good old days” when people were neighborly. All in all I would definitely recommend The Katherine Holle House if you are passing through Watertown WI.

A gorgeous Victorian house that has been beautifully restored. The staircase is a work of art. Our room was very large and well appointed and the en-suite bath was spotless, with every toiletry you could want stocked. The bed was a cloud and we slept like stones. The hosts were engaged and warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. They clearly enjoy people. The breakfast supplied was gourmet quality and may require a nap afterward. It does front a busy street so there was some traffic noise, but nothing a pair of ear plugs won't conquer. By 10pm it was dead quiet. If you find yourself in the area and are looking for a great place for a night or two, this home should be at the top of your list. We are thrilled with our experience.
