Attention to detail incredible from the welcome pack which included treats for our dog. To the bath salts in bathroom. April Cottage is well presented property which is comfortable and in a great location April Cottage is fabulous"

"The Tiddler is nicely placed in Winterton on sea for easy access to the village, sand dunes & beach. Located behind the old Winterton Lighthouse and access to the Hermanus Holiday park. You have the option to use the park facilities.which include a heated outdoor swimming pool, ( summer only) bar & restaurant. Off site there is within the village a good pub, shop,tearoom & fish & chips shops as well as the Seal View Cafe at the Winterton beach car park. We found The Tiddler ideal for our base for the week and we found it had everything we required for our break. The DVD collection is extensive along with the books for a relax if or when you are rained off."

"Lovely clean cottage fantastic location straight out of the garden gate on to the sand dunes. Lovely food at the Hermanus restaurant open to non residents and dog friendly. Great walks down the beach with no dog restrictions. Great time had by all."

"This was our second stay in Winterton, and the first at Cleveland House. The location was excellent, just a stones throw away from fabulous unspoilt walks by the beach and in the dunes - our pointer Dora loves it too! Although limited availability meant we only had 2 nights, we were able to make the most of the Friday, parking by the beach, enjoying a walk and an early lunch at the excellent Fisherman’s Return pub just a few minutes away. The late 4pm check out for Sunday’s helps too. The house is lovely. Beautifully presented and very well equipped with very comfortable beds and lots of space. The only minor issue would be the small TV in the lounge. With 7 of us taking in a film one evening it needed a bit of manoeuvring. It’s quite pricey too if you don’t have the full 10 guests the house can clearly accommodate. We would certainly consider returning."
