"This really was the perfect little place for my husband and I to stay for our quick getaway. Our daughter who was interning on the island stayed with us and we all agreed it truly felt like we were staying in a treehouse. Reminded us of our camping days of the past. So peaceful out on the deck. Enjoyed riding the bikes that were provided to the beach. Only wished we would have discovered the downstairs patio under the deck sooner than our last morning as it was about 10 degrees cooler than up on the deck. And for this girl from New England who likes to golf it was a great spot to watch the golfers, because there was no way I could have golfed in that heat. Had everything we needed, was clean and host communication was great. Would love to go back sometime in the spring when it’s not quite so hot and we have a little more time to explore. Would definitely book again!"

"The property was great and roomy enough for everyone! The location was great, somewhat close to the pool and beach access points. Only issue was when we went to check in at 4PM the property was still being cleaned. We waited 30 minutes before the cleaning people left."

"Overall we had an incredible stay at the Pelican Watch Villas! The view is to die for and having a toddler, the easy beach access right from our back door was perfect! We ran into an issue with the A/C where it was locked at 82 with a PIN that only the owner had but Carolina One maintenance was great and came out to help by reaching out to the owner to try to get it fixed as soon as possible!The biggest complaint and struggle is the check-in process. The club tells you to go to a certain office to get your parking pass but was closed when we got there even though the website said they would be open. Then when you get to the property there is a key pad on the door lock but that doesn’t actually work, the key is in a key box next to the door that you put the code into. Once you get the key out of the box it is incredibly difficult to get into the door knob. The door itself also doesn’t seem very secure due to the deadbolt being removed from the door. We did however love our stay here and would return again!"
