VILLA AT THE BEACH WITH DOLPHINS IN THE MORNING AND GORGEOUS SUNSETS

Only steps from the back deck of this comfortable, very well stocked villa, you’ll walk along the wide, soft white sands of semi-private Pelican Beach located on beautiful Seabrook Island. We are focused on providing guests with a clean, sanitized and well stocked villa. Seabrook island is a gated, solely residential community - quiet, lush and only 30 minutes from Charleston. You’ll see blue herons and white egrets. pelicans and dolphins among many other species. This first floor end unit at 1311 Pelican Watch Villas comfortably sleeps four people in two real beds (King in the bedroom and a pull down Queen Tempurpedic Murphy bed in the living area) and has two baths, Master with tub/shower, hallway bath with shower. The beach and water are warm and wonderful well into October. Winters are moderate too and it’s “just the locals” post season. Beautiful, quiet and private. Watch the boats sailing by as you enjoy this uniquely beautiful location. Beach umbrella, beach chairs, beach blanket, sand toys and beach towels are all provided along with a cooler and cold packs, reusable acrylic glassware and a picnic basket. Look out at the water and watch spectacular sunsets from the kitchen, living room and outdoor deck. Highly reviewed by our guests as very comfortable and immaculately clean with a well stocked kitchen and great beds.

Seabrook Island has no commercial properties so it is peaceful, calm. It's an ideal place for bike riding - picturesque with light traffic (bike rentals available and delivered to you). There is a full service Harris Teeter grocery (with a great fresh seafood department), many restaurants, shops and more within a mile of the Seabrook Gate at Bohicket Marina and Freshfields Village. My villa's kitchen is fully stocked for all your needs. Plush towels in the two full baths and high thread count linens on both beds ensure your comfort.

We provide all you need - washer and dryer, laundry pods, dish detergent and dishwasher pods, hand soaps, TP and all other paper products, shampoo and hair dryers in both bathrooms. There are all the basic seasonings, and EVOO (olive oil) and balsamic vinegar in the pantry along with plastic wrap and foil and every accessory, utensil, baking pan and piece of cookware you need - so you just check-in and relax. You'll find a Weber Electric Grill on the deck (Seabrook does not allow open flame grills). Smart TVs, Cable and WiFi, BluRay/DVD player. Iron and ironing board provided.

LAKE HOUSE AMENITY CARD ($15 refundable deposit) is available at the Seabrook Island Amenity Office for access to the Lake House which offers a year round (unheated) Outdoor Pool, basketball and volleyball courts (they’ll loan you a ball), and Lending Library. The outdoor pool has water features for the kids in season. There is a children's park adjacent to the outdoor pool area. To use the Fitness Center and/or Indoor pool there is a per person fee of $15/day or $40/3-day ($85/month).

FULL AMENITY CARD: provides tennis and golf access and full use of the Seabrook Island Club, a short 1/2 mile walk from the villa. Spring through Fall, The Beach House has two outdoor pools, a Private Beach, a sundry shop and restaurants. Off season, full service dining options across the street from the Beach Club with beautiful ocean views. Cost April 1st through October 31st is $50/day for your entire group or $300/week for this access card. Prices lower off season.

The Equestrian Center on Seabrook Island offers guided trail and beach rides and pony rides for the kids. Contact them directly for fees, hours and reservations.

Restaurants, entertainment, groceries and retail are all within a mile of the Seabrook Island gate in Freshfields Village or Bohicket Marina. And Charleston is ~ 30 minute drive.

I stayed in the area few years back. The beach area was a little cleaner, not so much of ocean debris piled up. Lots of repair work going on. I did enjoy my stay.

Great Family Vacation!

My family and I enjoyed John’s place at Pelican Watch Villa’s. It was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The Murphy bed was a huge plus over a fold out couch. The views of the ocean were amazing! Peg was very helpful with everything.

Spring Vacation on Seabrook

We absolutely loved this villa. The villa is set up perfectly and the amenities are awesome! It has all the comforts of home and then some. It’s a short walk to the beach to play, watch the wildlife, fish, or just walk. There were also the “little things” that made us feel special.

Cindy and Dan’s favorite beach getaway

This villa is our favorite location at pelican watch. Quiet and close to the beach. I love to fish, and I can wet a line In just a few steps. Cindy loves to watch the pelicans and dolphins, that frequent the channel. There are usually great sunsets to watch also.

30th Anniversary Get Away

The owner John was so wonderful! He recognized our Anniversary and gave great detail where to go and eat The condo was perfect for our 30th Anniversary, walk right out to the beach, the condo had everything you need to stay for a beach week. The condo is close to Charleston and we got to visit the historical area. We then hopped on a cruise to finish the week! We definitely will be back!

Amazing!!

I have been going to Seabrook Island for 20 years and this was the best place we have stayed on the island. The first night the moon was over the ocean and right out our window. It was like a painting. The beach was a quick walk out our door and the clubhouse pool was also a short walk. The place was clean and stocked! We will be booking again next year but for two weeks!

This place is amazing. First time seeing the ocean for most of the family and we could not have picked a better spot. Owner is fantastic, the place is super clean and you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The beach isn't too crowded, only a short walk away, and umbrella, chairs and towels are provided. The deck is amazing, enjoyed a cool summer breeze off the ocean at night. I loved the migration of people to the beach to watch the sunset. Can't wait to come back!!!

Our favorite villa at Pelican Watch

We’ve been enjoying Seabrook for the last ten years with our little ones. We’ve stayed all over Pelican Watch because you can’t beat the beach access or the sunset views. This is our favorite one bedroom villa for sure! John was awesome about communicating with us before and during our trip. The kitchen was fully stocked with top notch items, allowing us to make our own meals most days. The Murphy bed is a huge plus when you’re traveling with kids. All units should adopt this! All in all, highly recommend and we’ll definitely be returning.

Another Perfect Stay in Seabrook

This was our 4th trip to Seabrook island and our 2nd consecutive year staying in this same unit in the Pelican Watch Villas. We had a fantastic time! This unit is absolutely perfect which is why we purposely returned to it this year. It is just steps away from the handicap beach access which was perfect for us since we were wheeling two little ones in a stroller. Sunset views are fantastic and the unit is very clean and updated. John could not be more enjoyable to rent from and he responds very quickly. He genuinely wants his guests to enjoy their stay! He was also very reassuring regarding COVID news and policies. We cannot recommend Seabrook, and specifically this unit, enough!

Well stocked beautiful getaway!

This is a perfect Location. Beach is right outside your door. You can watch dolphins and the sunset from your porch. The unit is extremely well stocked. Host has thought of everything from spices to beach chairs. The unit is in need of a couple minor repairs; loose fan in bedroom and loose faucet in second bathroom. But nothing that would keep me from renting it next year. We took some of John’s recommendations for outings. We took a tour of McLeod plantation that focuses on the experience of the enslaved. It was awesome! We also went to the Firefly distillery and had a tasting. We bought sweet tea bourbon and moonshine. Yummy. We just had a great relaxing time and the unit was a great place to begin and end our days. I will be back next year! Thanks John.

We love Seabrook Island but had never stayed at Pelican Watch before because of the majority of one bedroom rentals. For our 12th anniversary, we made an exception and left the kids at home! Honestly, cannot say enough about the host, the location, the view, the cleanliness or the choice of units. Five star all the way! I had to text John after 9pm on day of arrival for a door code that I misplaced. He responded immediately and averted a crisis! And all was smooth sailing from there. All incidentals are provided for you. From coffee to laundry pods to bath bombs, it’s all there! Quite honestly, more of a B&B experience than a vrbo experience....minus the breakfast. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family. In fact, the Murphy bed convinced us to retrieve our little ones from grandparent care the last night and they were THRILLED with the secret hideaway. Top notch rental for couples with or without small children.

This place was perfect for our family of 3. The condo is immaculate, well-appointed, and well-stocked. The beach is just steps away on the boardwalk. The ocean is calm in this estuary area, and we saw dolphins every day both from the beach and the back deck. The host is a great communicator--friendly and responsive. We have stayed in the Pelican Watch Villas before, and this unit is our hands-down favorite.

This was one of the most beautiful locations to ever vacation at. Seabrook Island has my heart and this year we stayed at Johns villa and just let me tell you ... immaculate! We stayed here for a family wedding. I traveled with my two girls and we all had a wonderful time. My girls were always off with their cousins so for me I got to sit and enjoy a book and have a cup of coffee sometimes two on a deck looking out over sand dunes and ocean. The townhome and surrounding area very clean and the foliage beautiful. One mishap and corrected within minutes with our pass to enter the main gates but other then that hiccup it is truly a wonderful place. Would reccomend highly.

The View!!!

The view from this villa is spectacular! The sunsets and wildlife are added bonuses. The host is gracious and provides all the info needed for a great stay. The villa is very well stocked with all the basics and the beds are very comfortable. Highly recommend!
