"The reason I gave the Inn a poor rating on amenities was the bar was closed, the restaurant was closed, and the staff(which was excellent) was only on duty from 8 a.m.to 8 p.m. Lucky we didn't need anything as the rooms were well stocked, but if we did we would have to call and wait for a person to come help. I think that the Inn should have let me know they were on a winter schedule until Memorial Day and the bar and restaurant were closed. I probably would have booked somewhere else. It is a historic hotel and I understand the fixtures are old, but the toilet kept cycling and as mentioned no one was available to fix it after hours. Not a big problem but a little annoying. I will state once again that the two ladies at the front desk were friendly, efficient, and super nice. Thank you ladies."

"I have stayed at several larger houses around Lake Lure over the years and this one checks all the boxes. The house was perfect for our larger group to stay under one roof with plenty of room for everyone to both have some space to themselves and be together in one area. The house had everything you could ask for or need while on vacation. Location to golf, lake, and Rumbling Bald amenities couldn't be better! The back porch is the perfect place to spend a late afternoon in the shade. Plenty of parking for everyone in our party. Host was very responsive and communicated clearly about check-in / check-out, etc. We will booking this property again next year!"

"We stay at Rumbling Bald facilities about once a year and always enjoy it! The kids played pickles ball, mini golf, bean bag toss, and swam in the indoor pool and avg day! This was our first visit back since Helene and we were just so glad to visit both Lake Lure and Hike Chimney Rock. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and the short distance to the facilities and beach. "

"Beautiful condo and lovely stay! Our whole family enjoyed our stay here so much. The amenities were exceptional, the host was fantastic, and we will be referring others to stay here. With modern updates and a serene covered back porch with gorgeous lake views, this condo is one of the best avaliable in rumbling bald. 10/10 experience and perfect for family vacations or extended stays. "
