Very clean and decorated very well. Lake view and great dinner. Staff was on top of our needs and everyone there were so friendly and attentive. Room was very well appointed, mattresses and pillows were the best experience in a long time. We will definitely plan on coming back in 2027.

Outdoor pool and courtyard area was beautiful. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was okay, decently clean. Keep in mind you are staying in a very old hotel. By no means would I say it's luxury, but they can charge as such because there are not many convenient hotel options by the lake. As there is no breakfast at the hotel, you will have to find your own. While we understand that service is quite sparse in the area, the provided WiFi is also not good. We had a good experience overall, but likely would just find a vacation rental nearby next time.

We had a room with a jetted tub. It worked great, but the shower didn't work at all. There were pubic hairs under the toilet seat. Most of the blinds didn't close. The bed creaked and sagged in the middle. I loved the history of the hotel and the staff was amazing.

Set your expectations for 1920’s luxury. This resort is not modern and does not have breakfast options, the tv is small, rooms are small and it is old. However if you want history and a fantastic location in a beautiful area this is it. The pool is fantastic, views from the porch are fantastic and staff is wonderful

We loved the history of the Inn and do recommend others to visit. What I missed most was having a refrigerator in our room, but I was told later by the staff that for $10 they would have brought a small one up to our room if we had asked them to but we didn’t know that until we were leaving. It’s a beautiful place and I enjoyed seeing the bears in the area. Be very careful around the pool area. That’s where we saw the little bear in the trash bin! The beach area was closed the weekend we were there because of the weather ( lots of rain during the week bringing up debris which was would have been dangerous for the little ones.) We enjoyed the trip to Chimney Rock and all the places we ate at were amazing! Great food and staff there at the Lake Lure Inn!!! We will be back again soon to support the people there!!!

The Property faces Lake Lure which is a pleasant view. There's quaint restaurant around the corner. It had a nice little grassy doggy pad. And the hotel welcomes dogs sincerely love that and a few of the restaurant has outdoor seating so dogs are welcome.

I visited in the off season, but the hotel is lovely. If you're used to staying in the cookie cutter hotels that all look the same, this hotel will surprise you. It's all furnished with antiques. There's so much charm and personality here. It's delightful! Don't hesitate to come here thinking the hurricane has everything closed. Lake Lure is very near "full pool" now. The town is open for business and could use your support. The staff helped me out with tips on local events and attractions. Go to Lake Lure! Stay at the Inn!
