"This house was amazing - the only reason I said 4 stars for the listing is because the actual house was much better than some of the pictures. We had a group that was very large - (14 adults for a period of time with 4 small children - then we dropped to 12 adults and 2 kids after the weekend) We had plenty of room to add a couple blowups if necessary - the house was VERY clean and the communication between us and the owner was perfect and very prompt. Location was great in Glen Arbor - we could walk, or water board, kayak to what ever we wanted to do. The amenities were awesome, plenty of everything for all our group. To say we enjoyed our stay just doesn't seem enough. We have stayed in the Leelanau Peninsula for over 20 year each summer and our whole grouped agreed that this was the best home we had rented in all those years. We were a little worried about NOT being on an actual lake but there was such easy access to the beach if you wanted we didn't even miss it. And the river provided so much fun - just sitting and watching the kayakers go by was a lot of entertainment. RENT IT - it was worth every penny."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to Foxwood for 6 years now. We absolutely love the place. The location is fantastic for enjoying the surroundings be it on the deck or at the riverside. The house has a very warm cozy feel to it. The house is far enough away from the main part of town so peace and quiet can be enjoyed. However the home is walking distance to all the quaint shops and eateries."

"Very clean, spacious home that met all our needs. We had a mix of kids ages and the hot tub, football, pool table were great for entertaining all. Close to all that Glen Arbor has to offer, along with kayaks, bikes, beach chairs etc. great vacation stay!"

"We had a great stay at the Cranberry Ridge A frame house. Beautiful setting. We were three 60 adults and the stairs were not a problem. We appreciated the coffee supplies that were provided. The internet was great. Plenty of towels, blankets and other supplies. Loved the two decks. The heating/AC units did the job. Very close to town. Wildlife right outside the window. It was very comfortable, we felt safe and it was perfect for us. Love it that dogs are allowed although we left ours at home. Thank you John"
