"The customer service was a complete joke. From day one, the staff were rude and didn’t know how to deal with customers at all. Most of the people at reception couldn’t even speak proper English, so communication was a mess. I asked for an iron three times and kept being told it would be brought to my room never happened. Then I was told I had to wait until housekeeping came in at 8 a.m. I waited, saw one of them, and when I tried to explain, she literally pulled the room key out of my hand, looked at the number, said she’d bring an iron and didn’t. I was fuming by that point and went straight to reception. Turns out, I was supposed to pay for the iron the whole time, but no one mentioned that. They handed me some form to fill out to pay. I asked to speak to management because the whole thing was ridiculous. The receptionist talked for half an hour but still didn’t resolve anything. In the end, I had to pay. To make it worse, the phone in the room wasn’t working, so I had to walk all the way down to reception every time. The room itself was dusty and dirty. Even though housekeeping came by, it didn’t make a difference it was never actually clean. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because I was travelling with my two kids, and they wanted to use the slide in the play area. Guess what? The slide was out of order the entire time. If you’re travelling with children and think you’ll have a fun, relaxing time here don’t bother. The staff are rude."

"Very problematic. Room clean and serviceable with bed and linens. Food was the difficulty. Restaurant on ground floor was depressing dark and dreary. Food selection zero and preparation dismissal. All food overcooked, cold and tasteless. Restaurant on second floor acceptable. Though selection still limited, at least it was hot and almost satisfying."
