La Reginella Resort & SPA

"It is the staff that truly makes this place magical. They were always helpful, friendly, and cheerful, going out of their way to help us with our requests. Our family has been coming to La Reginella for the past two years, and we were thrilled to recognize so many of the same faces - and even better, they remembered us, too! My wife had developed a genuine fondness for some of them and it was sad for us to leave. A second major highlight was the daily breakfast. I have never looked more forward to waking up for a hotel buffet as much as I did here. Although the spread was plentiful and offered great variety, I would have been happy enjoying plates of their freshly baked bread and hot coffee every morning. And their multiple pools were another family favourite. We spent our last full day never leaving the property - simply enjoying the thermal waters. We'll be back next year!"

"We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, and although the hotel itself was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing, we would not recommend it for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. Choose somewhere else where they will make an effort to make your stay feel a little more special. The breakfast selection was quite mediocre, and we ended up skipping breakfast during the last two days of our stay. However, the breakfast staff were very kind and polite, so the service was good. It's a good hotel for families, as it's close to the beach and has several pools. The bar staff were also very nice, helpful, and polite. We opted not to have dinner at the hotel because we tried the lunch twice and were quite disappointed. The menu selection was very limited, and the staff were, unfortunately, not very friendly. Our room also had an issue with the air conditioning, which was incredibly noisy. We notified the reception staff, but the problem was never addressed. In the end, we had to turn it off at night so we could sleep. On top of that, our room was filled with ants and tiny spiders. My husband forgot his shirt at the hotel and was told by the reception staff that there was no lost-and-found service. Fortunately, the very kind and helpful beach staff assisted us, and the shirt was indeed located in the lost and found. The beach staff were excellent throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time in Ischia, but we wish we had chosen a better hotel for our stay."
