"Very convenient location, near Forio port. Quite noisy, but the windows block most of the noise. The room was super dated with furniture from the ‘70’s. Same with the bar area. "This hotel is incredible- lovely, huge room, caring staff, excellent location! Patrizia is the best hostess, always there to help make your stay comfortable. I loved walking the streets of Forio and all the restaurants close by, then coming home to the Palazzo and looking out the window to the beautiful view!!"

"The hotel is average at best Room didn’t have water or trash can. It was very basic Water in the bath wasn’t hot Breakfast was ok but it starts at 8 am! "Really nice place, clean and quiet. Natalina and her daughter were super helpful in terms of getting around the island. Did a lot of walking, the natural hot springs were maybe a 15 minute walk and the next town a little further but the island is gorgeous! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at San Montano Resort & Spa. The views over Ischia and the Bay of Naples are breathtaking, the pools and spa facilities are world-class, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and elegant. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was warm and professional, but I want to especially recognize Gennaro, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. His attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. San Montano is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy incredible food, and soak in the beauty of Ischia. Highly recommended — we will definitely return!"

"The house has most of what you might need for a great family holiday 5 minutes’ walk from a wonderful golden beach. The host is helpful and flexible. Lacco Ameno (the nearby town) can be reached on foot in 15 minutes but a rental car comes in handy if you don’t have patience to wait for buses. "
