Old school Italian hospitality with modern touches throughout. Lovely thermal pools and spa. Thoughtful and helpful staff. Good breakfast and coffee, eaten on terrace. Very clean. Daily beach towel provided in room. Clay tennis courts cam be booked too, arrange ahead. Location is excellent in Lacco Ameno. Daily passagiata is easy. Entertainment in the evening. Close to beach and thermal baths. Staff welcoming and made a difference. Bus/taxi nearby. Many patrons return annually. A treat for us in Ischia.

It is the staff that truly makes this place magical. They were always helpful, friendly, and cheerful, going out of their way to help us with our requests. Our family has been coming to La Reginella for the past two years, and we were thrilled to recognize so many of the same faces - and even better, they remembered us, too! My wife had developed a genuine fondness for some of them and it was sad for us to leave. A second major highlight was the daily breakfast. I have never looked more forward to waking up for a hotel buffet as much as I did here. Although the spread was plentiful and offered great variety, I would have been happy enjoying plates of their freshly baked bread and hot coffee every morning. And their multiple pools were another family favourite. We spent our last full day never leaving the property - simply enjoying the thermal waters. We'll be back next year!

Staff were friendly & helpful, room was clean, the thermal pools were delightful. The property felt a bit dated, but the amenities for the price felt like it was well worth it. Negatives: the shower in the room was tiny, the table in the spa was very wobbly

We had a very enjoyable stay and a great overall experience. The staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive to detail. The manager was always present and made a point of asking how we were doing, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious, with a very generous selection, especially of pastries and sweet options. My only suggestion would be to add a little more variety for guests who prefer savoury food in the morning. The team making the coffee also did a fantastic job — the coffee was superb! The room was cleaned extremely well every day, with fresh bed linen and towels. We also really appreciated having fresh pool towels available every day. The swimming pools and the hotel grounds were very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Overall, a very good experience. A big thank you and well done to the entire team!

It was our first trip to Ischia and we LOVED it! The La Reginella Resort Spa was simply wonderful! The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast included many options to choose from as well as a large assortment of beverages. Our room had a lovely balcony with a table, chairs, umbrella, two lounge chairs and a small view of the ocean. It was perfect! We spent a good amount of time lounging by all of the pools. Now we are planning a return visit in the near future. Ischia has our hearts!💕 I want to highly recommend the Dolce Vita Ischia Sea Boat Tours. Jovani was an amazing guide!

The common areas (breakfast, pool, reception area) were great! Breakfast was included and delicious. The only complaint is that the bedroom and bathroom were a bit outdated. We enjoyed our stay!

A glorious resort and thermal spa in the charming town of Lacco Ameno, 10 minutes walk from the public beach and with several excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk. Staff is wonderful, the thermal pools varied and very restorative and our room was large and comfortable. My only criticism would be our tiny tiny shower cubicle but otherwise our five days there were great.

The property is well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an older property though and that was clear in some areas like the stairs up to our second floor room, room design and fixtures, traditional room keys (and only one) and the poor AC performance. The room was spacious but bare. Even with the dual sided closet there were only two drawers plus a one drawer nightstand on each side of the bed. Beyond that, there was one luggage rack and a very dated sofa type chair. We just reorganized our luggage and lived out of our suitcases after hanging as much as possible. The bathroom was large, which was nice. The AC really underperformed and also was partially covered by a curtain which I folded out of the way. We luckily got a fan for our room which made all the difference. All in all, it was clean and again, the staff were friendly - especially the bellhops and breakfast team. It gave an authentic Italian island vibe, which was nice for our getaway. I’m not sure if I’d go back to this hotel, but all in all it was a good stay.

Hotel was lovely with very friendly and helpful staff. Thermal baths on site were wonderful and ensure you don’t have to leave the property. If you do venture away from the hotel, you are already in the town of Lacco Ameno so restaurants and shops are only a short walk away. Recommend staying in a room in the main building if you require strong/reliable WiFi. Thanks to the property and staff for a wonderful visit.

So many pools!

Tons of heated pool options, and we loved using the Turkish Bath steam room. The restaurant on-site, O’Pignattello, was fabulous, and the service was outstanding. The front desk helped arrange a taxi very early in the morning for me. The room was comfortable, and it was very close to many shops and restaurants in the Lacco Ameno area. This was a more affordable hotel in the area, and it didn't seem like it was a budget pick. I enjoyed my stay very much!

We had a lovely stay at this family friendly resort! So many great thermal pools to choose from, wonderful variety of food at breakfast & the staff was lovely too! We traveled with our 10month old baby and they were very accommodating! Would definitely go back. Everything walkable from hotel & they provide free shuttle service to the local beach.

Very relaxing and peaceful. Thermal pools are great. Breakfast is good and staff are very helpful. Lots of seating/sunbeds available inside and out. Never feels busy even in high season. A water station should be added in the gardens. The internet is also a bit patchy and not fast enough for a 4-star hotel. Some areas of the property need minor maintenance.

The gardens and various pools were wonderful and well maintained. The staff was friendly and obliging. The property was unbelievably clean. The breakfasts were repetitive- we only discovered by chance towards the end of our stay that you could order an omelet, for example. Ignacio, Pippi, Jada and Valentina were lovely! Some better explanation by management concerning breakfast and dinner would improve the stay. Perhaps a printed sheet in every room! On the whole, we enjoyed our stay and our room.
