"Need a car or not mind walking up hill on way back from town "

"The hotel is looking a little tired now and could do with redecorating. We arrived a little early for check in, but reception was unmanned. We waited about 15 minutes and pressed the buzzer 3 times but no one materialised. The room was cleaned well apart from a glass being smashed in the bathroom, when we got back there were still several shards of glass on the floor which were dangerous in a bathroom. The hotel’s location is excellent and close to restaurants and shops."

"Room was clean and well furnished, the hotel was quiet and had a relaxing atmosphere, breakfast was lovely."

"The breakfast was good Upon arrival we were allocated a room that was cesigned for disabled persons,especially in the bathroom ,with hand rails and grab facilities. Fortunately the upper floor facilities lift was an infill to our room,did not operate during our stay,otherwise we would have requested a room change. The site can only be described as massive and the staff were very helpfull. We only stayed for 2 nights and it met our requirements. If you were looking for a room with a view the cost would be exceptional,our room overlooked an external barrier wall. As we were out all day this was not a problem,however if you want to stay longer go elsewhere or you will be disappointed - the site is for wedding functions and business. I suggest you look elsewhere if you want a leisure break "

"Really lovely hotel recently renovated . Excellent facilities and extremely good Restaurant for all meals. All staff we met friendly and efficient. Very close to beach great fir walks."

"I’m sorry to say this was a bitter disappointment. Please don’t be mislead by the 5 star grading. This is just about a 3 star at best. The executive room mattress must be over 20 years old the way it’s it’s dipped and given way. Had to sleep in the middle and woke up with a terrible back. Food was really terribly basic. Staff are lovely and couldn’t fault their friendliness which was the one benefit. "

"Our stay was fine and breakfast good but first evening room had no heating on. Room was chilly and we asked reception about it and was told heating comes on at 6.30. We asked again at 7pm and the Manager said to reception they could put it on for an hour. Never heard of anything like this. Apart from that staff were very pleasant and breakfast good. "

"The view was excellent, staff very helpful,room was great value.The outside of Hotel needs a bit of tlc and carpets on floors need good cleaning on 2nd and third floors."
