"Every year we go with friends to make the most of fall’s beauty in the Northeast. We all love the Berkshires especially during the fall and were delighted when we found this charming house. The house is very thoughtfully decorated with charming artistic touches nicely woven into more traditional furniture. The bedrooms are comfortable, towels are plentiful and with 2 tables you can have your pick of location for meal times. We enjoy cooking and eating in and made the most of the eat in kitchen for breakfast and the more cozy dining space for dinner. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch in the morning and watched the starry night sky in the field at night. "

"I want to mention that from the get-go this reservation did not go well. They charged more than the VRBO “no hidden-fees”, by putting an additional hold on my credit card of 800 for a damage waiver, which I have NEVER had a VRBO rental do. They sent (to my personal email) additional paperwork to be completed and required a copyof my government issued ID, from their Boston rental company. They then used my personal mobile number and email to contact me repeatedly and unnecessarily, without my approval, which I have never had a VRBO do. They continued to try to circumvent the VRBO messaging throughout my stay, even when requested to not do so several times. They did not provide the check-in information as per the VRBO site’s rule, of 3 days before, instead sending it less than a day before my check in and only then when I requested it. They provided me inaccurate check-in information, such as stating the WiFi code would be on the cable box when there is no television or cable box in the rental unit and then took a day to provide me the WiFi log-in information. They did not provide directions to the rental unit, only an address. Since mobile and GPS reception in this area is little to none; one can’t rely on such a method to arrive. There are no house # or markers for this property on the dirt road it is down and it can’t be seen from the road. There were torn linens on the bed, broken window panes, electrical tape covering holes on the floor, thermostat hanging by wires…"

"Terrific house with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. Super common areas and large kitchen. Charming older home well maintained. Great outdoor space with several places to sit including fire-pit area.Owner very cooperative and thoughtful. Easy process. Perfect for me and several adult children in town for a wedding.Would stay again 100%!"
