  • #Trovember Round barn at Hancock Shaker Village. I've been wanting to explore here since visiting the Shaker Village in Canterbury, NH also the one in Sabbathday Lakes, Maine. The history, culture and Shaker way of life is so interesting and appealing in its simplicity. We visited in April and were excited to meet and0wt the newly born farm animals. We took a tour to hear about daily life in a Shaker Village and then enjoyed a walking trail through woods and meadow and finished off with some delicious ice cream. "Tis a Gift to be Simple, 'Tis a Gift to be Free..." and it's a gift to explore this well-preserved living history museum!

This hotel was clean, very comfortable beds, and had a great breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was affordable and not too far from dining options. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

First time back in what must be a couple or maybe 3 years. For a moderately priced roadside stay it was pretty good. Room was clean and the bed comfy. Shower was hot and sheets clean. The breakfast at 6:30 is a plus. I found the evening and morning desk clerks to be very friendly and helpful. Room television offers a chance to stream Prime or Netflix if you have an account which is a plus. I would stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel last summer, and I was happy to come back. The front desk staff are very nice. They have convenience items available near the front desk, as well as regular and frozen foods. Full breakfast is served 6:30 - 9:30 am, and it's a feature I look for.
