"We came to Basel for a Euro 2025 football game. This apartment was great for getting to/from Basel, with a tram stop a 2min walk from the door. Parking available on site. Apartment was clean and modern, as described. Host was very easy to communicate with, very quick to respond. Would highly recommend this place for visits to Basel and the area. "

"Eine Ferienwohnung, die keine Wünsche offen läßt, alles war sehr sauber. Es ist alles in mehr als ausreichender Menge, Töpfe in brauchbarer Größe, vorhanden. Wir haben uns da sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin hat mehrmals nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, oder ob wir noch etwas brauchen. Hervorzuheben ist aber noch das Bett, die Matratze ist der Hammer, haben lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen. Haben uns spontan entschlossen unsere jetzige gegen diese zu ersetzen, so begeistert waren...

"The apartment was clean and welcoming; it looked exactly like the photos. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the train station and an 18 minute walk to the grocery store. The host was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we required throughout our stay. He was accommodating, polite and extremely helpful when we needed it. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Hotel Metropol was perfect for our quick stay in Basel. It is located steps from the train station. The staff is helpful. When we arrived before check in to ask if we could store our luggage while sightseeing, they said our rooms were ready and allowed us to check in early. How nice! We were able to walk all over the city from our hotel. We enjoyed our one-night stay here. We were not able to have breakfast at the hotel as we had an early departure the next morning. We would recommend staying here. "
