"Unfortunately, the Pines is in need of significant repairs and renovations to modernize this former Nova Scotia landmark. The boiler was undergoing repairs and no hot water was available in the rooms. We did receive an upgrade to a room with Ocean view.The carpets could be shampooed and dents in the moulding as well as flaking paint could be easily repaired. No wi fi was available. Dinner was excellent. Staff were friendly. We would consider returning but we would choose a cottage instead. "
