"Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. "

"Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Barn. The owners and staff have been very helpful and accommodating. Close proximity to Margam Park with stunning walks and cycle paths. A shop and places to eat also close by. Would highly recommend"

"I have stayed here twice before. The welcome from Lyndon is great. The breakfast is freshly cooked and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However the wardrobe was in need of repair and the fridge had old food in it. The bedside cabinets had a layer of dust but I base my review on comfort and hospitality "

"Bright, clean and spacious room. Located right off the highway but in a lovely green space hidden away. The room was big with a large ensuite. It is a little dated but perfectly kept and clean and absolutely everything you could need - even an iron. Slept really well which is what you need when travelling. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Lovely apartment very clean great location lovely staff the only thing for us was we found the cleaning fee was expensive and that it had to be paid separately and it would have been nice if there had been some dish washing soap as we where only there for 3 nights and we felt putting on a dish washer for two plates and cups was wasting water and a couple of pods for the washing machine since there is a washing machine which was great and as we’d been travelling for 3 weeks I did need to do some...

"The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. "
