Erholsame Ferien

Wir verlebten 14 erholsame Ferien in Barneville. Die Wohnung war zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Ortschaft (Ortsteil) selber ist sehr ruhig. Es hat nur ein Restaurant zum auswärts Essen, kein Supermarkt oder Bäcker (nur ein Baguette-Automat). Dafür ist der Strand sehr nahe. Sollte das Restaurant unterhalb der Wohnung wieder einmal eröffnet werden, wird sicher fertig mit der Ruhe sein.

Wohnung mit einigen Schwächen

Bei Ankunft war die Wohnung leider nicht so sauber, wie man es sich gewünscht hätte. Unter den Hochbetten lag viel Schmutz und die WC's/Badezimmer waren auch nicht gerade frisch geputzt (viel Staub). Leider funktionierte die Spülmaschine die ersten Tage nicht (die Agentur hatte vergessen, uns das mitzuteilen). Diese wurde dann doch zeitnah ausgetauscht. Insgesamt lief die Kommunikation mit der Agentur schleppend. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ok, zum Strand sind es nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Aber da die Wohnung direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt, war es ab 6 Uhr ziemlich laut. Gerade die beiden Zimmer, die zur Straße liegen, sind dadurch betroffen. Und man musste immer mit geöffneten Fenstern schlafen, da es sonst zu stickig war. Die Ausstattung der Küchen-/Essuntensilien könnte besser sein. Da wir das Glück hatten, dass Freunde von uns ein Haus mit Garten in der Nähe gemietet hatten, haben wir uns nicht so viel in der Wohnung aufgehalten. Insgesamt kann man die Wohnung empfehlen, wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche stellt.
