"Beautiful, clean cabin with a wonderful view of the river. The host was just a gem. We booked a last minute reservation right in the middle of them setting up for their staff Christmas Party. Suzy kindly stopped setting up and ensured we were able to get to our room. I was extremely impressed with everything and will certainly be back when I come back to the area."

"There was a mix-up with the couple renting the other cabin. They arrived first, and was asked if they were the couple with the dog, and they said yes and were let in the cabin. When we arrived they had started unpacking, so we agreed to let them stay on our cabin, and we stayed in there cabin.There was no loft in our cabin, but we had paid for it. We were not going to make it an issue. We did enjoy our stay. Bed and couch very comfortable. Needs more light in kitchen area."

"We loved everything. We played pickleball, kayaked on the river, enjoyed all of our meals outside under the big oak trees and marveled at the stars by the firepit at night. I only have a few suggestions: the outside table and bar were dirty. The bar table had a huge pile of rocks on it and was covered in leaves and dust and there were no fire pit tools. But these were just minor things and did not cause us to lose any relaxing time. I think a small table top jenga game would be a nice touch also. Overall, its a wonderful property and we want to go back soon."

"The Moonshine exceeded our expectations in the best way...Its ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The home had everything we needed and more..The extra touches such as supplies you need but "forgot to bring" was over the top! we have stayed in many properties over the years and nothing can evn compare.The walkability to the river was perfect... Our family will never EVER forget this trip! Glam and Grit Texas style!...WE LOVED EVERY SECOND!"
