"Beautiful space that is very cozy; nice slice of nature, only downside is proximity to the highway (one can hear trucks going by all night). Amazing to watch the hummingbirds in the morning & the sunset views were gorgeous. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable spot near the state park. I rented this cabin so my elderly mother (late 70s) could do birdwatching at Garner without having to camp, it was not 'accessible' in ADA standards but also was not worrisome or difficult for my mom to navigate herself."

"Remote and peaceful location at the top of a mountain. The outdoor shower was amazing, loved the fire pit and the features and items in the home were high end and well done. We loved that you could open both sets of doors and let a full breeze through. Beautiful!"

"bringing linen,s on motorcycle takes up a lot of room, privacy is not as good with the way house is set up with curtains as doors. we only had 2 couples and worked out fine with them upstairs and us down stairs"

"Beautiful location, there were 9 of us and we were all very comfortable, plenty of room and beds. Big, beautiful porch to watch magnificent sunsets over the Frio River. We spent most of our time in the water. There are many stairs to the water but once you are down along the river, it is gorgeous! Great place for families! Host was wonderful in communicating with us along the way. Highly recommend!!"

"This property was very clean inside and looked just like the pictures. Very nicely updated. The bed could use some updating. If you take your dog this time of year, be aware...there are MANY sticker burrs around the outside of the cabin! The only other warning is: the river is not that easy to access if you are older (we are 70). You can drive across the road but then you have to walk over very large rocks and debris just to get down to the water. Once you get there the water is BEAUTIFUL AND REFRESHING and a perfect place to sit and chill."
