Barcelona trip

The absolute best!

Perfect apartment with gorgeous views!

Javier met is upon arrival and brought us up to his beautiful apartment. He gave us a tour and shared the fascinating history of his home. The apartment was beautiful and we were overwhelmed with the incredible street view from the family and dining areas. We had everything we needed to feel at home. Javier even had champagne and pastries waiting for us in the kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful stay…what a treat!

This Place Is A Dream

When we saw this listing on VRBO we instantly new this is exactly what we were looking for, but almost believed it didn't exist. Everything was as advertised with an un unbelievable view of Casa Battlo (one of Antoni Gaudí's famous works of architecture), and the heart of Barcelona itself. The public is truly blessed by the owners' decision to share this wonderful property and its rich history. Thank you for the unforgettable experience.

Fabulous Barcelona apartment

Wonderful apartment in a fantastic location

We had a wonderful week at your beautiful, spacious apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone. Great location and nice apartment

The location of this apartment is outstanding and the owner took the time to greet us personally on arrival which would normally be a huge positive but this felt more like an interview. It somewhat put us off after a long day of travel - would much rather have been given a five minute overview and then be left alone. Overall the apartment is nice and spacious and again, a great location.

Fantastic Barcelona Adventure

We stayed for 3 nights with my wife, my son, my daughter-in-law, and 2 granddaughters. The location is great. Right in the heart of town. The apartment is roomy with all of the comforts of home. Javier showed us around when we first arrived and gave us the historical perspective. We would highly recommend this place for families who want a comfortable home in a great location!

A Gaudi good time was had by all!

Javier and Pilar are super hosts! The spacious flat was their home for 20+ years, and our party of 6 was welcomed and treated like family. The history behind the building/connection to Gaudi is fascinating. The location is bar none: Casa Batllo is across the street; La Pedrera is a couple blocks down; and Park Güell and Basílica de la Sagrada Familia are short cab rides away. We saw-- and ate-- a lot in four days, and plan to return one day for more. Highly recommend!

Paradise in Barcelona

An absolutely beautifully maintained and expansive apartment easily accommodating 8 people. We were only four. Sixth floor view across the street from Batlló....what more can I say.... a gem. Pilar was easy to communicate with and very informative when we met and had a tour of the apartment. She recommended many beautiful sites and restaurants. We also had a concierge, Daniel, who was equally as wonderful. We could not recommend this place more.

More than a home base, it felt like home!

5 stars are not enough! This apartment was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed plus the location was stellar being across from Casa Batlló, being in a historic building, and easy access to transportation and even walking distance! We were made to feel right at home as soon as we arrived, being greeted by Javier, the host, who gave us a mini tour of the apartment and Daniel from YouStylish, the concierge service company, who also made all of our planning amd activities so easy for us. Communication with Pilar, the hostess, and Ana also from YouStylish,was also excellent. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We miss Barcelona already and can’t wait to return!

Magnificent stay in Barcelona

We recently stayed in this fabulous apartment. 1 adult couple and 2 adult singles. The apartment is very well appointed with plenty of space for 4 adults and more to move about comfortably. All aspects of the stay were perfect. Javier and Pilar are fantastic communicators and were extremely responsive and helpful. In addition, the apartment building is full of great history and located directly across the street from Casa Batllo which makes for great morning/evening gazing with drink on the balcony. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again when we return to Barcelona. Thank you Javier and Pilar for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Barcelona

Our party of seven thoroughly enjoyed staying at Pilar and Javier's lovely apartment. This is our first visit to Barcelona and it is everything that we have imagined and more. The concierge service provided by YouStylish is stellar. Every detail, ranging from provisions in the apartment, assistance to booking activities/reservations/airport transfers, recommendations to local restaurants, was meticulous handled and utterly seamless! The location cannot be any better: the abundance of bakeries and tapas bars, ease of access to must-see sights (Casa Battlo is across the street), and shopping heaven! The teenagers' occasional craving of American fast food are satisfied with Mickey D's and Five Guys just 5 minutes away. We look forward to returning!

Amazing Apartment

Hands down the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. Total communication from the minute we arrived in Barcelona. Usually you have to hope and pray that the check in instructions are clear and accurate, but they instructed us to call when we got to the airport. After which we were met at the front door and walked through the whole process. We were given a tour and they even prepared maps, food and entertainment recommendations . The apartment itself is amazing full of history and beautiful architecture. The location is unbeatable with views of one of the most famous blocks in Barcelona. In fact Casa Batlo is directly across the street. I cannot say enough nice things about our stay there, it was a truly special experience. When I return to Barcelona I will definitely stay here again.

Like no other rental

To stay in this home while in Barcelona is to stay in luxury. If you think this could be a good fit for you, then stop looking. Book it! The location is beyond 5 star with the magnificent Casa Batllo right across the street. This home is on the top floor, and so has the best view from the balcony, which is comfortable for two to sit and enjoy the comings and goings of Pg. de Gracia. To also be here at Christmas only magnified the beauty, as Barcelona really puts on a show. Pillar and Javier were amazing hosts, even decorating a Christmas tree for our family to enjoy. The concierge service of YouStylish was absolutely fantastic- I will be looking for a service like this in other cities we visit. I can’t give this rental high enough praise. Hopefully we can return one day.

BEYOND INCREDIBLE

I cannot begin to summarize our stay at this property! The location is perfect, the apartment is elegant, comfortable and ideal for experiencing all that Barcelona has to offer. The balcony and view of Casa Batllò were breathtaking. Everything is meticulously curated to provide serenity, luxury and a one of a kind experience! However, what sets this property apart from every other we have ever stayed was the service we received from both the management company and the owners themselves! They attended to every detail and went above and beyond to make sure that our every need was not only met but exceeded! I could never say enough kind words or praise that would be sufficient! The property is steeped in history and the family has done a stellar job of preserving their legacy. The memories we made while staying here will last a lifetime. Anyone would be LUCKY to have the opportunity to stay here and we will certainly be back!!

Best Vrbo EVER!

What an amazing Vrbo! We are at a loss for superlatives, but we will try. We love the city of Barcelona, its Catalan culture, and the many amazing expressions of the Moderniste architecture movement. On previous trips we have stayed in luxury hotels. BUT this time our family got to live the dream and stay in this stunning historic four-bedroom family apartment (worthy of Architectural Digest), with a balcony overlooking UNESCO World Heritage site Casa Batlló and Casa Amatller (pinch me, right?). The icing on the cake, however, was our hosts treating us like we were long-lost cousins with so many personal and truly thoughtful touches; the kind we try to extend to our own houseguests. A multi-course gourmet welcome dinner cooked by professional chefs?!!! Small-ish things like voltage converters, maps of the area showing where to find the pharmacy, the supermarket, a nice local restaurant. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of light, fully wheelchair accessible. And then, next-level things like a concierge service, personally stocking our kitchen with a wide array of food and beverage, and matching our interests in architecture and foodie culture with their connections with local experts. Seriously, above and beyond on every level. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting this incredible city. Thank-you from the bottom of our hearts, Pilar and Javier!

Fantastic family vacation

We were in Barcelona for 3 nights and four days. Friends of ours had stayed at this property before and highly recommended it. When we arrived, we were greeting by both the property manager and the owner, who gave us a tour and introduction. The apartment was sparkling clean and well appointed with amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hairdryers, plenty of linens…everything you would expect from a nice hotel. They even had a welcome bottle of champagne for us, some basic breakfast foods, coffee and tea, and chocolates on the bedsides. All of the beds were comfortable. Each room is climate controlled. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The kitchen has everything we needed: glasses, plates, all the basics, without any extra clutter. The entire apartment was well furnished without clutter, yet decorated nicely. The building has several layers of security so we felt safe. There was no noise from the street unless you opened the balcony doors. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We slept well, and the location is fantastic: close to cultural sites, excellent restaurants and shopping. Five stars!
