Apartment description - 3 double-bedroom newly renovated apartment with 2 full bathrooms plus den with one single bed. One bathroom with sink, bathtub, toilet. Second bathroom with shower, sink, toilet. Complete kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator. Small balcony off Master Bedroom. Two queen/double beds and 3 single beds. Maximum occupancy - 7 people.

42' flat screen TV in living room.

For maximum comfort this apartment has central gas heating and central air-conditioning.

*** Please note currently we do NOT accept stays of group of guests under 21 y.o., which are unaccompanied by adults (we require at least 2-3 adults over 30 y.o. for a group of 5-6 guests under 21 y.o.). Also we kindly remind you that parties of any kind are not allowed in the apartment. STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. ***

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at a short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi.

Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 20 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 7 holiday apartments in Istanbul. We apply our same high standards in every country.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) in two of the bedrooms. The other three bedrooms are very quiet.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 5 people to have separated bed for each. It can sleep up to 7 (maximum occupancy) - Two queen/double beds and 3 single beds.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 (4:00 PM) for occupancy. You can drop your bags with our manager. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. You can request reserved early check-in for a small fee, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in. We have keyless system.

Late check ins - no problem.

Reservations - We conduct reservations by email, that way there is a written record of all communications and much less room for error. We cannot currently take reservations payments by phone.

The apartment is spacious and incredibly clean, we enjoyed both balconies and appreciated having air conditioning, as it was very hot during our visit. The location is perfect and makes everything very walkable. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

We loved this VRBO! Great location, lots of room for our family of 5, close to metro, had everything we needed for a great stay. Noise from the street/ late night partiers was only noticeable one night. Would absolutely stay here again!

The location was ok, but noisy, the pictures of the bedrooms with beautiful bedding did not exist, the walls are due for a coat of fresh paint, two bedrooms and a bathroom have windows that open to mechanical shafts with a musty smell. The kitchen is due for an upgrade. The staff person Lilianna who we meet, was very polite, friendly and helpful.

Clear communication and instructions...loved having a key pad entry so we did not have to worry about keys and coming and going together ...Very clean spacious comfortable apartment ...warm and we loved the sun room/balcony. Little to cold to use the roof top terrance but we had a peep and it too is spacious and ideal for sunny warm evening drinks..A little splash of paint and colour would make the apartment even more wonderful..

Perfect location- the only difficulty we had was: we arrived on a Sunday & early. We appreciated the hospitality and the ability to get our luggage in the apartment before we checked in. Would suggest letting people know where/when to put garbage out.

The Grande Apartment

The layout was great for us. The apartment was spacious and accommodating for all 4 of us. It was easy access to everything we did. The rooms had plenty of storage and we had enough towels for everyone. Not having a physical key to worry about certainly was convenient as well. The staff was super helpful in making arrangements with us for dropping our bags off early and making sure that we had everything we needed. The only downfalls we had was the people upstairs were loud in the morning and for whatever reason some of us could connect to Wi-Fi on one side of the house and others only on the other side. We did enjoy our stay and we would stay here again.

We stayed in this apartment for a 10-day family trip to Barcelona and could not have been more pleased with our choice. From the initial booking through checkout, both the host and property manager were consistently prompt and helpful in their communication. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, and the location was excellent. Nearly all of the sites we wanted to visit were within walking distance, and the neighborhood offered plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars, and markets just a short stroll away.The apartment itself carries an authentic charm, with vintage doors, windows, and classic mosaic tile flooring. While some may note that the property could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, we found this detail added to its character rather than detracting from it. Despite being in a lively area, we did not encounter any issues with street noise. The air conditioning worked beautifully, keeping the apartment cool and comfortable even on hot, humid days.The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the in-unit laundry was a welcome convenience during our extended stay. A highlight was the enclosed balcony off the master bedroom—an inviting space to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.Overall, this apartment offered comfort, convenience, and authentic character. It made for a memorable stay in Barcelona, and we would happily book it again in the future.
