This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the centre of Barcelona but in a quiet spot. People saying the nightclub next door is noisy must have been unfortunate because it’s a small quiet club which made no noise at all when we were there. Place is fine, kitchen is great but my only issues are the late check-in fee and air conditioning charge. Late check-in with a place like this is unnecessary as most people would use an outdoor key safe. Also, saying you have Aircon but it not being included in the price is a little sneaky if you ask me. Place was great other than those two small issues.

Great experience

The location was fantastic, close to many attractions. My flight got in very late and they waited for me and were available to check me in very late. Communication was clear and easy. The Place was very clean, bathrooms were very clean. I would stay there again.

Communication great around checkin. Friendly and helpful. Room was quiet, no outside interruptions. The person who welcomed me into the building was absolutely lovely, helpful and so welcoming! The space is a room inside a five bedroom apartment with two pretty nice bathrooms and the kitchen with everything you need to store food and cook for yourself to save money on a trip. The bed was comfortable and the worker came back in the middle of the stay to change my sheets. The owner was also really helpful giving directions.

I stayed at another room earlier in the week and things were great. By the time I had to change rooms, the lovely worker who welcomed me the first time was replaced by a very rude worker who would bring her boyfriend with her and he would leave trash and food everywhere… she gave up cleaning the place and her and her boyfriend went into one of the rooms for a bit. When they were done doing “whatever they were doing” she left without finishing the cleaning until the next day.

We stayed in a triple room (double bed & fold out couch that converted to a single bed). Had a nice covered patio that contained a desk, dining chairs and small table, and a drying rack. Clean and comfortable private room. There are two bathrooms that are shared with the other four or five rooms, modern and cleaned daily. The kitchen is also a shared space, had all the basic amenities as well as access to a washing machine. Please note that a refundable security deposit of 100 euros is required (you pay via a website however was only emailed this on the day of check-in). The check-in time is quite late at 4pm, and as there is no receptionist there was no flexibility for us to drop our bags off a couple hours earlier. Overall a decent stay, and fairly good value by Barcelona standards for the central location.

Review: Misleading listing and lack of transparency The room itself was fine for the price and cleanliness was not an issue, but several important details were misleading or not disclosed upfront. The listing stated that laundry facilities were available on site. After booking, I was told that guests are not allowed to use the laundry themselves and instead must pay staff to do it for them at a cost far higher than a nearby coin laundromat. When I asked directly if there was a laundromat next door, staff repeatedly pushed their paid service instead and would not provide the information. I later discovered there is a laundromat right next door. I travel light and book accommodations specifically with laundry access in mind, so this was a significant issue. There were also racks of laundry hanging in common areas, suggesting no dryer, which is inconvenient when staying only a few days. Additionally, when we arrived, the lock on our door did not work. We were told it would be fixed the next morning, but we had an early tour booked and did not feel comfortable leaving our belongings unsecured in a hostel. Someone eventually fixed the door for us, and the staff member who helped was very kind — this was not her fault — but the situation itself was stressful. The TV did not work, and air conditioning required an additional charge, which was not clearly disclosed in advance. There were also unexpected extra charges: a fee for arriving after 8 p.m. that was not disclosed until aft

Everything was just as announced. Room very clean. There was someone cleanning the bathrooms almost every day. The kitchen is well equiped. There are markets near and a lot of good placês to breakfast or lunch and dinner. The metro station Passeig de Gracia is just a few minutes walking and there is a bus stop in front of the building. I visited quite every atraction on foot. I felt safe. My only suggestion to improve is having some sign with rules such as : please do not slam the doors because people arrive late or wake up early in the morning and forget there are others sleeping. It happened quite every night.

Nice clean accommodations for a reasonable price! Wonderful neighborhood one block off of the Rambla and a 25 minute walk to most anywhere you’d want to go. Bedroom was very comfortable - do splurge the 10€ for AC in warmer months though! As more of a “guesthouse” style lodging with shared bathrooms your mileage may vary - if we’d had rotten neighbors it definitely would have impacted our stay. As it was though, we didn’t have to find out - it was a fine experience.
