This property is not far from a Metro line, which was GREAT. The property grounds could use some TLC as it looks grubby and unkempt. The interior spaces were good, clean and nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was nothing special.

Nice place to stay

Even though it's not as close to the center of the city, it's a walk away from the metro station which made exploring the town easier. I had only two complains: - lack of a frigobar/mini fridge - bathtub was very slippery, I almost fell a few times. I suggest proofing it against that or at least having a non-slip mat.

This Travelodge is situated in a commercial area right next to the Barcelona trade fair halls and only15 mins from the airport. Nothing much in the immediate area, but there a big mall approx. 20 mins walking time. Limited dining on site, only a snack bar. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel is good value if you don´t need to be in the city centre or for an overnight.

Just a little closer to the city centre and it would be convenient for those who prefers to walk around and perhaps a fridge and a safe to store your valuables but other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful, a nice tidy and spacious accomodation and a quiet area.

The property was good and quite area. However it was a little far from the tour bus location or main attractions. Shopping center was close but the facilities were not good. No kettle, iron, dryer, less options for breakfast no beans, no enhlish breakfast tea etc. Otherwise the price was decent. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Step down from Motel 6

Honestly imagine a Motel 6 and then go down a step. There were rust stains in our bathroom and a washer and screw for the cap where you pull up to have the water go through the shower head. The front desk people were very nice - the condition of the hotel is very lacking. WiFi only in the lobby? That is honestly just cheap. And the cost was not much less than the very nice hotels close by. The location is very close to a metro line though!

Basic TraveLodge property in the Barcelona Fair area. Close to all fair events and also to the airport, and about 15 minutes taxi ride to Barcelona city centre. No full restaurant and not much in the immediate area, especially in the evening, but there´s a big mall and a lot of restaurants within walking distance. "Economy class" rooms, but that´s what you get with TraveLodge anywhere.

Travelodge Barcelona Fira is conveniently located to the Fira Conference center. It is only a 5-8 minute walk to the south entrance. The lobby area was fine and offered a breakfast buffet for 10 euros. The room is no frills which is expected from the Travelodge brand but the bed was comfortable and the room was pretty clean. However, the air conditioner was the issue. I was in the hotel for a week. First night, no problem cool air and comfortable. Second night the air did not work and I had to open the window. Mosquitoes entered the room during the night and had me for a meal. In the morning I informed the front desk. They sent someone to the room to check it out and they did something to put the system into a 'centralized' configuration. Each I informed the front desk the AC did not work. Each morning the same person would tell me they would look into it. Each evening the AC would work for a short time then quit. The last night, the front desk person (I believe her name was Litita) provided a fan and really tried to fix the AC which she said was a new system. That was the only real help I received. During the week, no offer to move to another room, no offer of compensation, just attitude and questioning if I knew how to operate an AC system that was configured to be operated by the front desk. None of the controls in the room worked. This is the worst hotel stay I have experienced.

The hotel is everything i wanted, super clean, friendly and helpful staff and at an affordable price. The first day at check in, the front desk person Monica made me realized that Travelodge are professionals in the hospitality industry.
