Barcelona Stay

We loved this apartment; it is in a great neighborhood, we felt very safe and it is convenient to the metro and with lots of wonderful markets and restaurants. It was only a few block walk to the Sagrada Familia. Pedro was a great host, after meeting us and letting us into the apartment he talked about the city, his history there, and things to do for 40 minutes, making us feel very welcomed and prepared for our stay.

Good appartement with basic interior

The appartement is good for a stay with three or four people (parents with children). The interior has basic equipment. The neigbourhood provides everything for the daily needs. And of course the Sagrada Familia. We enjoyed the stay in Barcelona. Thanks to Pedro, a very friendly owner with many recommendations to visit.

Lovely apartment in a really nice area of the city.

A spacious apartment, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. We received a very warm welcome from Pedro and Marie Carmen despite being later than expected. Close to Metro stations and bus stops for travelling to other parts of the city. We walked to El Clot several times and loved the friendly local atmosphere. Nice shops, bars and Catalan eateries within walking distance. A wonderful week in the city we love.

Barcelona stay

The apartment is spacious and clean with all the amenities. Kitchen well equiped. Beds are comfortable. Many restaurants, cafes and markets nearby. There is no elevator. Stairs are small and quite inconvenient to climb. Street noise is felt. Overall we are happy with this stay.

Beautiful, clean, spacious apartment! The host, Pedro, was waiting for us when we arrived (even after our flight was delayed) and shared information about the neighborhood and local festivals going on. When we encountered problems with the air conditioner, Pedro arranged immediately to have it repaired, even though most repair stores are closed in August. It was fixed immediately, and we had no further problems. The neighborhood has many shops, grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants just steps from the apartment. The Sagrada Familia is less than a 10-minute walk and the metro is only 1 block away. Truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again next year! Gracias Pedro por todo!

a wonderful experience

We had a great time! The apartment is a small two bedroom, sufficient for 2-4 adults or a family with a couple of kids very comfortably. Can accommodate 6 if some sleep in the living room. One thing to note, it is a 4 floor walk up. Not a problem for us, but one should be aware before booking. The neighborhood is residential, but walkable anywhere in the center of the city, very close to Sagrada Familia, also a short metro ride to all other attractions. Some wonderful eateries very close by, and anywhere in the city really! Although we walked everywhere, we sometimes took metro at night going back home. The best way to get from the airport to the apartment is by RENFE, direct 30 minute ride, very convenient. Barcelona is awesome, people are friendly, food is amazing and affordable! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Perfect Location! Great Space!

Pedro's apartment exceeded our expectations! It was MUCH larger than we expected. It had nice natural light, two good size bedrooms with comfortable beds, large living room with dining table for 6, kitchen with great amount of pans/knieves, bathroom, and two small terraces. The location in Barcelona is AMAZING. A 10 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia, so many restaurants, bars, cafes, grocery stores, and two Metro stations and many bus stops. You do NOT need a car!!! You do not want a car! Lol. We were in Barcelona for 5 full days and two half days on either end and we feel SO lucky that we were able to stay at the apartment. Pedro was absolutely wonderful. He met us at the apartment and gave us a full tour, suggestions for where to go, and was available on WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this location. :)

The apartment was very spacious, well-equipped, and clean. Both the bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. Its location is perfect for a few days of sightseeing in Barcelona.However, there are a few downsides. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a building with no elevator, and the staircase is very narrow and steep, making it difficult to manage with large suitcases. Another issue is that the apartment could really use some renovation, especially in terms of the electrical system.The air conditioning cannot be used unless someone is inside the apartment, which is inconvenient. Several studies have shown that maintaining a consistent temperature during the day is actually more efficient. If you're out all day and only return at night, the apartment gets extremely hot. At night, one of the bedrooms has the air conditioner blowing cold air directly onto the bed, while the other bedroom has no AC at all—only the living room does—so it takes long time while it cools down warm.

Wir hatten wirklich tolle Tage in Barcelona. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, um die ganze Stadt zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft hat alles, was man braucht, ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wonderful stay in Barcelona!

My partner and I could not have asked for a better stay in Barcelona! Pedro’s apartment was excellent for anyone looking to roam around Barcelona by foot. The location was simply amazing. Watch out for the stairs though, they’ll whip you into shape. Thank you to Pedro and his wife - they welcomed us and provided a lot of information. We will be back!

Highly recommended!

Pedro was so kind and took his time to explain everything to us upon arrival. The location was perfect, 5 min walk from La Sagrada Familia, and 15 min walk to Glories mall center, it’s literally close to everything, metro stations and also train to go back to the airport. We couldn’t have selected a better location for our stay. For my mom, the stairs were a bit difficult as the property is on the 4th floor but she got used to it. We also felt very safe in the area. Overall, it surpassed our expectations and we will gladly come back! 10/10

Emplacement idéal

L'appartement de Pedro et Marie Carmen est idéalement situé, bus et métro à moins de 10 mn à pied. Pedro et Carmen nous ont merveilleusement accueilli, les explications étaient complètes et le logement très propre. Je confirme que le seul bémol sont les escaliers assez raides et nombreux (75 marches), mais cela ne nous empêchera pas d'y revenir si nous en avons l'occasion.
