Nice apartment, unclear procedures for getting in.
The apartment was lovely, spacious but very bare. No tea towel, washing machine powder, tea, coffee etc it was very clean and secure. We did find an issue with booking in. Upon getting dropped off at the apartment address with no other instructions from the booking agency, we found it locked and had no idea what to do next. I then noticed a sign stating that we needed to walk 2 blocks up the street to a booking office. This was totally unexpected and inconvenient although the guy was very nice and helpful. Upon leaving, he said we could leave our bags in their office all day till our flight etc. On the web site it says that the office is open 9am-11pm and he confirmed this. We turned up with full luggage in tow at 9.20am to find it closed with a sign saying ‘Back in 30 minutes” —- from when?? We then needed to lug our bags down the street to sit and wait for the office to open which was very unexpected. We were also told that the office closed at 5. We were amused to read reviews which were 2 years old that said the same thing about booking in issue. So, does anyone from the company read the reviews?!

Great location
Good location - easily walkable from Barcelona Sants and metro station only 3 blocks away. Plenty of local supermarkets and amenities. Apartment was great

Didn't get to stay there arrived after an international flight to find they "couldn't have us stay there due to plumbing". They did book us at another place and payed for the taxi only to find we were at an apartment and needed to wait another hour to get in total 2-3 hours wasted and they should have attempted to contact us rather than have us walk up to nothing, then at least don't send us on a taxi to sit on a curb.

We have had indeed a plumbing issue and that is why we booked you a 3 bedrooms apartment (instead of a 2 bedrooms ) and paid the taxi to the new apartment. We have tried to contact you by phone as soon as we noticed the issue but you were already in the plane. I am sorry you were dissapointed but we did everything possible to offer you a better option.

Good location but confusing check in instructions
Location is good but check in instructions are misleading. We took taxi to apt address only to find out check in was further ahead by 2 blocks. Also blanket had stain. Overall was fine.

Great Neighborhood feel
I loved the apartment. Easy after hours check in. Clean, roomy and comfortable. The washer didn’t seem to work as it appeared the handle was broken off. The walls seem thin as the dog barked next door and a childcare was outside of balcony. Plenary of local eats. Easy to eat to bus station.

Good size space and comfortable
We thought this was a good value and nice space. The unit was in good condition and had plenty of room. It would be nice if you were able to check in in the building itself after hours (if after a certain time, you must go to another building located nearby) - however this wasn’t a big deal. It’s not clear to me what the housekeeping service is supposed to be. One day, they just left new towels, but didn’t tidy up or make the beds. Another day, they did. Overall, would stay again.

Adequate accommodation
This apartment hotel has no reception and so all communication is done with the sister hotel a few blocks away. We had some issues with our door and not getting in very easily. If we'd been staying longer we would of asked to move as it was very frustrating not to say dangerous ( I have the injury to prove it!). The hotel staff were very nice and arrangements for getting our key after hours were fine. The street was busy as we coincided with the independence rallies, 2 of which were in our street and that affected public transport Overall our stay was OK

Cute & spacious
The place was so cute & spacious! The staff was great and we were able to check in early... which was so nice after a long flight! The area was great & the balcony was a major plus!!!

Husband Got Bug Bites
Check in was a mess. You need to go to other location for access, which was not clear from booking through orbitz. Then when husband is sitting on couch, he noticed bugs crawling on him. I took video of several small bugs crawling on the couch. The next day, he has bites on his back. I took photos and sent to Orbitz, who contacted this company who still refused to give at least a partial refund. Hotels.com gave us a refund but the hotel still refused. Please don't book with this hotel. They're disgusting.

We called the property beforehand and were told we could check into our room just by calling them upon arrival (we would be given a code to open the front door). When we got there and called to get the code, the person we spoke to had no idea about this and had to come over to check us in. We had a ton of luggage and 2 small children waiting on the street. The place is run down. A lot of the furniture has seen better days. There's no safety at all for small children i.e. the stairs to the second storey have no door/fence/safety thing to avoid children from falling. The beds were really bad quality. We woke up with back aches from the poor quality of the mattresses. Not recommended at all.

We were supposed to stay in this location but because of some water heater problem we were moved to a different location. But it was fine. Very clean and neat apartment. We loved it. Only downside is that the walls are paper thin. But other than that it was fine.

Good apartment for a few days stay, in a good neighborhood near Placa d'Espanya. Rooms were big enough, however the condition and the overall cleanness not that good. Bed sheets and bathroom was clean but you could see that the rest was used and shabby. Check-in was a bit tricky, since we arrived after 6 PM and had to check in by phone, we were staying at number 98, but the check-in had to be done at number 140, which was not that good.Good facilities in the kitchen. Overall ok stay for 3 nights and Barcelona is great.

Nice but!
This experience was a bit interesting. We showed up and happen come in at the same time the manager was living (he manages two locations). We told him we were checking in and he said: "the front desk is at another location a few blocks away and you need to come with me to check in there". They do not tell you this on their profile (or at least I do not remember reading it) and I was surprised to hear this. I left my family there and had to walk to the front desk about 3 block away. Needless to say I was not happy about it. The staff was nice and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. The location is ok, and the price was good although I would not stay there again. Good Luck EC

It is great, has one problem which is that there is no 24 hours front disk. and the front disk was couple blocks away from the building I rent in. I was walking in streets with my luggage back and forth to check in late after the office was already closed. other than that everything was good.

Had to wait almost 40 mins to check in and had to walk from the "hotel" location to another location with all my luggage. they were obviously short staffed but it was frustrating. as i said the shower wasnt great, the walls looked a little moldy. otherwise it was ok. Also, there is a preschool directly next door with 20 screaming kids starting around 8am... not so nice :-(

Nice apartment near Placa Espanya
Nice apartment in quiet neighborhood. We were greeted warmly by the apt manager even though we arrived a little earlier than the posted check-in which was appreciated! The two bedroom apt was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony overlooking the street.

A great stay
We were so lucky to find this place in a last minute search! It is a few blocks out of the way but in a very nice and walkable neighborhood. The apartment looked up to date and nicely decorated. The staff were great and they even let us have a late check out at no cost. I recommend it!

Simple Yet Comfortable
It is actually an apartment, and doesn't have that "hotel feel". You can actually feel like a resident of this area by staying here. This part of Barcelona is very homey - it's great ! The towels are not plush, the beds don't have box springs, the furniture is aged. But everything is comfortable. I'm no fan of hardwood floors, though that seems to be in fashion even in the U.S. The kitchen was well appointed and the shower was really hot with plenty of water pressure. The place was quiet at night. The TV is in Spanish only. I felt completely safe here.

Very convnient location.
The apartments are situated in a very convinient part of Barcelona. It was 10 min walking distance from Metro station , Pl. Espanya from where we caught the night bus (No 16 and 17) to the airport. You can catch a bus (No. 41) from around the block which gets you into Universitat or the Catalunya area in 10 minutes (depending on traffic). There is a bakery, a supermarket and fresh fruit and vegetable store right across the road from the apartments. We bought fresh baguettes and pastries from the bakery every morning for breakfast.

Not Bad Place to stay in Barcelona
Location is ok but a bit tricky to find from train stations. Two single beds are too small for us, it is actually a children's bed. Kitchecn is not bad, it has utensils but no washing soap. Bad thing is the kitchen sink drain is leaky and it made the kitchen floor wet so we have to sweep the floor. Good air-conditioning. Glass sliding doors lock are broken= unsafe if you leave valuables. Bathroom not up to standard, has molds growing on its walls. Cable TV not working. The only way to contact the hotel personnel is mobile phone. Staff as kind but not helpful. they speak limited english. Otherwise we, survive and did not mind so much of it as we were outside most of times. We had good time outside the hotel rather than inside. This is the price for looking for cheap hotels/accomodation. Think twice before you book this hotel. If not fussy go for it.

great clean rooms in a convenient area for subway, grocery shops, etc. Only complaint would be silly little things like no Kettle, and noise from directly above seemed to be coming from a tribe of drunken idiots which threatened to wake up my one year old daughter. Otherwise great

I don't like to lie All what I am tilling is truth Location is fantastic 10 min walk from international station 10 min walk to catalonia centre 2 min walk to Espanya which is a central festivals location And it's clean big apartment we were 3 persons but flat was able to 5 persons And very good persons to deal with and very helpful And around you alot of supermarkets and fruit shops and all in good price Really you will intrest. As mentioned in other reviews the check in desk is not at the apartment location - you call them and they come to you. They were quite nice and checking in was easy, and the room was large and comfortable (we were a family of 5 staying 2 nights). I was quite happy with the room, but the location wasn't the most exciting - it's a residential area with not a lot going on. There's a nice park and shopping area within walking distance, but you're not near the major tourist attractions.

the bed was not the most comfortable, it was actually two single beds pushed together, not one king. it was spacious, clean, and nice- minimalist, but nice. the internet wasn't the best, but workable. the shower was nice, very powerful and lots of hot water. worked well for us.

Great spot to stay!
We stayed at AinB Eixample-Entenca recently before leaving on a cruise from Barcelona. It was a great suite. Plenty of room for 6 adults. The staff was friendly and helpful. The suite was immaculate and was bright with a small balcony. Great kitchen with everything that we needed to prepare snacks and small meals. There is a small elevator for luggage. Location is excellent. Safe and quiet and close to Arena Mall to overlook the whole city... and shop! The only small disappointment was that when we went up to enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace, there were plastic, broken and dirty tables and chairs. It was not really inviting. Otherwise, it was a wonderful budget friendly place to stay, in a great neighbourhood!

Great for a short break
This was a super apartment away from the very noisy parts of the city, but within easy reach of Metro and train stations. Friendly and helpful staff and a well presented but simple apartment. Great for a few nights, but possibly under - equipped for a longer stay.

The apartment feels as if it was poorly half finished, then rented. It was clean, but lacked more than one light in each room, had no soap, the table top was laminate with bubbles and holes. Doors fit poorly, and fixtures were loose. The proprietor is not very congenial on the phone, or professional. It would have been uncomfortable to try to spend time in the apartment doing any work or reading

Clean convenient apartment overall
First advice - take a satnav or make sure you know the apartment number. It looks nothing like the photos and would be difficult to find just off the street. Good location. We caught the 46 bus from the airport to Placa Espanya (much cheaper than the official airport bus). The apartment is a ten minute walk from there. We rang ahead but made the mistake of speaking to Cental Reservations who were not very helpful. There is a direct number for the on site caretakers/reception and once we got hold of them we were let in early. The.apartment inside is much smaller than the photos make it appear and much more basic. Overall it was absolutely fine. Very clean and a good location. The decoration and fittings are worn and need updating. Lighting is poor and there is a lack of things such as bedside lamps which would make all the difference. The beds are also too basic for everyday use with metal frames like camp beds. A pity because it really would not cost much to make the whole experience much more enjoyable. We would probably stay there again but look at other options first.

Great hotel for the price
This is great for a 3 star hotel and for the price. We rented two apartments accomodating 6 people each, the apartments were recently remodeled and clean. The two landlords were very accomodating. I'd recommend for a family or a group of friends.

Fine apartment for a stay
Had a nice one night stay. Clarification: it is not a hotel - it is apartments in a residential neighborhood. Walls are thin, but overall it was quiet. Great water pressure, A/C worked fine. There is a custodian who lives on the first floor and he is available whenever you need him. There is no front desk or services of any kind.
