"In general "Good" but not "Very good". Firstly, at the time of check-in, the location of the house is very difficult to identify. Google Maps doesn't take us to the right place. Google has never personally mapped Barbados. It was the government that provided the “Street View” images. Don't be fooled by what you see, the images must be dated or are fake. Fortunately there was a well-intentioned person to help us. The Barbadian people are very friendly, welcoming, kind and ready to help in any circumstances. Secondly, the accommodation is not at all where the application tells us when we click on "Get directions". The app shows us a spot on the edge of Heywoods beach, as the beach is a 9 minute walk away. But it's actually about a 20 minute walk from the beach. Third, the apartment is not fully air-conditioned. Only the living room. Rooms only have ceiling fans. Still a good experience despite everything. I recommend for a family of 4 but not 6. It was quite clean for our level of cleanliness, there was enough bedding for all the rooms. The kitchen could be better equipped. Gabriel reserved beach chairs for us for the entire stay. Barbados is a wonderful country with more than adorable people."

"My daughter and I had a wonderful stay here. Just as the words Tropical Blossoms implies, the beauty and the graceful ambiance of the flowers that surround the apartment when you arrive begins your retreat to a peaceful and tranquil vacation.The host was very gracious, helpful, cordial, kind and courteous. When we arrived and went inside Ed had a bowl of sweet fresh picked Organic mangoes that he had just picked from one of his trees in a bowl on the table set for us. Subsequent days later he bought us more. Wow we really enjoyed them. I'm missing those delicious mangoes already.The apartment was very clean. It has one bedroom with a huge king sized bed. The room offered two (2) options if you wanted air conditioning or netted and screened, open window fresh tropical air. The bathroom and kitchen provided all the amenities as described. Ed was available to make sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The area is also quiet, serene and peaceful.Tropical Blossoms is located in the parish of St. Peters. It is very close to Speightstown where many of the sea side ocean front restaurants are located. It is also very close to the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary. If you get there before either 11:00 or 2:00 daily, you will be there just in time to watch them feed the adorable monkeys. We noticed that buses are close by if you wanted.We all in all had a wonderful stay, and we thank Ed and his family for their gracious hospitality."

"My family of 12 stayed at the Old Sugar House from April 2-7. The house is soooo beautiful, clean and spacious. The pictures do not do it justice at all. The garden and views are breathtaking. Short drive to beautiful beaches. It was so easy communicating with Sue,she was always quick to reply, very pleasant, patient with my many questions and made some great suggestions in preparation for our arrival. The staff is an added bonus that made our vacation a true vacation. They are all so lovely. We did not have to lift a finger. Bibi made sure the house was spotlessly clean, beds made, laundry done. Terry is a fabulous chef who prepared meals with love and catered to those with various food allergies. Wendell made the best rum punch and was available for anything we needed. Thank you Old Sugar House for the memories our family will never forget!! We will be back for sure!!"

"Shops and restaurants are nearby, but the walk is about 15 minutes. The kitchen appliances are old and need replacing. Pots and pans were plentiful, but cutlery and glasses were shared with upstairs unit. The beach chairs provided and the outdoor furniture was great. Thank you. The layout of the apartment and the furniture provided excellent. Wifi and TV great. No need for an alarm, the rooster next door will wake you to see the sunrise. "

"The best part of this property is definitely the outdoor space! Nicely furnished inside and out. There was poor communication with Andreas so some things need attention, specifically, the microwave that stopped working during our stay. Not the best dishwasher. The kitchen was void all spices except s&p. The bathrooms are not supplied with shampoo or soap so bring your own. The beds are very firm so great if that’s what you like. The grounds are well cared for. "

"The hostess was very hospitable, and very helpful with providing us tips, information, and rides to the beach when she was available/not working. She also let us borrow her beach umbrella, beach chairs, and pool noodles Her home was clean, and the air conditioner worked. She also taught us how to cook up breadfruit. Thank-you, Natalie! "
