"It's well located in West Baraboo and, as is true with AmericInn hotels in general, it is a revitalized older hotel. It's clean and has good amenities, the bed is comfortable and the TV works. The door to my room was quite heavy and hard to open. I suppose that might be a good thing. Typical hotel breakfast with plenty of options and a helpful smiling staff worker who keeps things humming--don't forget the tip jar!-- and parking for the restaurant is next to the entry door. There is an Italian-style restaurant in the building and it is owned and operated separately. It was good for a bowl of Italian wedding soup (YUM!) and the staff --mostly young --was pleasant. The restaurant seemed to attract local residents. This hotel is across the street from a Kwik Stop gas station and an automotive dealer."

"Nice property, close to food and shopping. Front desk not staffed all the time, so bit of delay getting checked in, and could not find my reservation, seems computers were not getting synced with hotels.com data correctly. But they got me in a room anyway and sorted it out later. Rooms are good sized, though most are 2nd floor. All the ground level rooms appeared to be long term occupants living there? Not sure. Nice pool if you like that sort of thing, washer dryer right be office."
