"My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Pastel Cottage. The listing was accurate and I felt comfortable there, which is saying a lot for me in Memphis. We were able to travel to Mud Island easily so we could visit relatives there. There were lots of little touches which made our stay more enjoyable: a coffee bar with needed supplies and snacks, easy instructions for using Alexa, nice bath mats, and plenty of items like hangers towels, and tissue. The home was clean and spacious. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Some helpful tips for travelers. If you are a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine or use the free app on your phone or you will hear the highway traffic. This is an older home so there aren’t outlets in the bathroom. There is an extension cord in the bedroom near a full length mirror that is great for use with hair appliances. It was an easy convenient option. All in all, this was a great place to spend a few days. "

"My room was clean, however, I did notice there was still hair in the sink and water still came out of the faucet when taking a shower. So it felt like a shower bath. When checking in, I was not told they charge for parking nor did I see it in while booking the room. I’m used to breakfast being included with the stay of the hotel. However, the breakfast was not included despite how much you’re paying for the room ($200/night). You have to pay $12 extra if booking online for breakfast and if you don’t include the exact number of people with you, you or them will have to pay for their breakfast. The staff was friendly and loved the woman who waited on me and my children at breakfast. "

"This was such a great space! It was perfect for a long weekend visiting our sons at U of Memphis. This home was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. We did not prepare meals in the kitchen, but we absolutely could have; it was well-equipped. Water pressure in the shower was great, and the beds were very comfortable. The location of this home is excellent if you’re visiting the University of Memphis. It’s super-close! It’s also only a short drive to Overland Park and the city. Very convenient! "

"Just down the street there were multiple restaurants, grocery stores and all major attractions were only a 20 minute drive. Neighborhood felt very safe and the house was amazing. The property manager was very friendly and easy to get a hold of. Would definitely stay again."

"This house is excellent for a family! We traveled from California to Memphis for a big family trip, and everyone was comfortable. Communication and check-in is easy. It’s perfect for kids, too. All the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and plenty of space for kids to run around and play. And, the house is lovely on the inside and out! Thank you for a great stay! "
