We could hear the elephants exhaling deeply as they were waking up in the morning as if we were having a sleep over! My son loved every moment and didn’t want to leave. Can’t say enough good things. Do not miss this. Best experience on the island in 4 weeks of travel over 2 trips. I would liken the staff service here to staying at Aman resorts - truly pampered."

We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. A perfect example of how well they take care of their guests was when we had to have our dehumidifier replaced because it wasn’t working. It was done very promptly and to make up for the inconvenience (and it really was hardly an inconvenience at all!) they gave us a voucher for both of us to have a full Balinese massage which was heavenly. Can’t recommend Munduk Moding Plantation enough. "

"This is a stunning property. It is absolutely immaculate both the house and the grounds. The staff were amazing, particularly Iloh. She kept everything so clean, looked after us and our washing and cooked some outstanding meals. Due to length of the staff we were given a free massage. The best massage I have had anywhere in the world! I had one every other day for about 7% of what I would have paid in the UK. This is a unique, stunning property. There was absolutely nothing that didn’t work for us. We loved the open/outdoor living, we loved the open air bathrooms and also the air conditioned bedrooms. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. There is a great supermarket down the road and wonderful restaurants and warungs around too. It is a perfect place to stay and unwind.
