Stayed for 3 nights in 2 room suite with balcony. All the staff able to speak decent English language, they are polite and friendly. The unit is very spacious. Good for family with todlers too.

Great service apartment, spacious, clean,
I came to Bangkok to have some medical treatments. Shama Sukhumvit Bangkok was the perfect place to recover. Rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils for basic cooking. Nice sitting area for family. Located in a good area of Bangkok that we like. Staff were very helpful in providing extra pillows for my comfort after my procedure, and caring towards my recovery.

This is a unique location, super quiet in the front and tourist area out the back entrance. The staff is extremely accommodating and efficient. They have an on-site tour booking agent (yes you'll get the stops at various shops) but they're not high pressure like a lot of tour stops. The pool is amazing situated overlooking the city. The location of the hotel is near lots of malls walkable , BTS or taxi. I would definitely stay here again.

The best on the hotel was only the pool and the view from the pool. The room was old and it wasnt worth the money we paid for 1 night.

A pleasant stay
The hotel is mainly occupied by arabs and families . Location is right at soi 2 and yes it’s where the go go bars are. So u will need a higher floor to stay away from the noise. Not the best if u have young kids who are not familiar with the Thai night life culture. There were women and ladyboys at loitering at the rear of the hotel. But the security was prompt at keeping them out of the property. Overall the stay was good.

1. Dirty room- there are fleas in bed Wecannot sleeping during the trip. No rooms available for change as well. Cover is dirty with a red marks, blankets and pillows is dirty, fleas may from the blankets....not sure we had reported to the hotel, but the staff asking if i got any skin sensitive....., i never have skin problems as well as my roommate 2. Veranda is dirty - lots of dusty and dirty place 3. Table and kitch and bed room as well as toilet also not clean very disappointed in this time i had lived here before many times .....i think no next time

Staff was courteous, respectful, attentive and kind. I think the property had great access to BTS, however I wish the property was not located in the red district. Not only was it loud in the evening, but solicitation was blatant.

Do Not Prepay for Breakfast when booking room
Big clean and nice room. Not bad for the money. Except I prepaid for 5 mornings for 4 people for breakfast. I only used 1 of the breakfast vouchers because the food was so bad. Cold waffles. Rest was more of a Thai lunch. I complained but was not offered a refund for the money I prepaid for breakfast. I spent 1500 baht per day eating at coffee club across the street every morning even though we had free breakfast at hotel. Pool area could use updated and area not for children. Lots of bars and late night noise. But still hotel is nice for what we needed. Separate bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and living room. Room very nice.

Staff are not professional, the bell boy was asking me to pay tips to random people! Location is not good especially for families because it is in the middle of the bars and discos. Interior is fine.

The location is good but the noise was bad. They should put in thicker glass to block the noise at night since they knew the location is next to the night activities places. The breakfast need to be improved a lot. This is the worse breakfast that I had taken so far.

It was certainly a good experience for my family. The room is spacious and my kids love to run around in the room. The toilet to the master bedroom comes with a bathtub which my kids enjoy. The maintenance team was quick to respond when we highlight that the 2 in 1 washing and dryer was not working, they immediately swopped one for us using the spare in the storage room. Personally, i think they should have some routine checks on the equipment before checking in of guests. The gym is equipped with essentials like the treadmill, free weights etc. The swimming pool is small but sufficient for my family. What could be enhanced is having a clock in the living room so that we are aware of the time. There are a number of 7-11s in the vicinity if you exit from the back gate of the apartment. Much variety of food can be found.

From Check in to Check out it was a pleasant experience and could not fault the friendly staff, the Shama Apartments are close to night life areas, shopping precincts and also very close the BTS train station will definitely come back and stay again.

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment and it was very spacious. Facilities were a bit old and there is absolutely nothing to play with at the Kids' Playroom. Pool was nice, breakfast good. On our first night, our apartment facing the night clubs were extremely noisy and I had to call the service staff to switch a room for us. Fortunately hotel staff were very helpful and response. We got room changed and it was much quieter. Hotel service was very pleasant despite the facilities were a bit old.

Good hotel but stay on the quiet side if you want
The hotel is walking distance to two BTS stops and a few mins away fr restos and mall. Nana/Soi 2 is next door though & if your room is on that side of the building, it gets very loud at night, its difficult to sleep. The room was starting to show wear and tear but very good layout with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Staff was professional and friendly. Gym machines all functioned well. Pool was small but ok. Breakfast was not bad either.

Good location but not a great service apartment.
The 1 bedroom looked fine. The toilet and floor wasn't cleaned properly as some hair were still around... But at least the bed and pillows were clean. Some stains were on the light coloured couch quite disgusting. We spent most of the time outside so we didn't care. The swimming pool water was too cold to swim. The staffs were not very helpful and friendly. They could have done better. The location was ok, walkable distance from the BTS station. Must bring your own towels, their towels are old.

This was my second stay at Sharma - I prefer the space in an apartment over a hotel as I was staying with others. I stayed here again also because of the location and ease of travelling to various places.

Great location as right in middl of the nightlife
Had a very good fishing trip to catch the red tailed Mekong Cat Fish , similar to Robson Green in extreme fishing , I had 12 fish from 20 kilos to one over 50 kilos , weep on Robson as my big Fish was around 2 X the size of the one he had on his TV program , but as they said I knew I had muscles after fighting fish of that size , still my Thai gf I had a massage after each fish , great fun !

Hotel near everything.
The hotel is very clean. Close to BTS, taxi and buses. Surrounded by lots of shop, bars beauty salons and night market. Terminal 21 is with in walking distance. Platinum fashion mall can be accedes by bus. This is is great hotel for friends couples but not families with kids because of the surrounding night life. The staff is really friendly and the room service is great. There is a really god gym and pool in the hotel.

Lovely apartment very convenient
I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and it was lovely very spacious and clean, great for a group of friends. The back enterance took you out near to nana plaza so you could easily walk to the main nightlife. Pool was lovely on the roof but only 5 beds so could maybe do with some more. Breakfast was really good despite me reading some bad reviews. Staff were lovely and very helpful, the guy selling tours was very friendly and took us on a trip to see temples at a reasonable price. Would deffo reccomend

Shama make me feel at home !
In fact is Shama more than a hotel. You got even more than in your own home. A nice kitchen with even a wastub and 2 flatscreens + dvd-recorder. A beautiful swimming pool and a lot of good restaurants on walking distance. A real shopping-paradice in de neighbourhood and many things more. Simply the best place to be for a vacation or a simple stay like me

The staff are excellent.
The hotel staff are welcoming and very helpful. I left my mobile phone in the taxi when going to airport from the hotel. called the hotel staff to report it. They followed up until they located the driver and got the phone dropped at the airport. Unfortunately I was already on the plane. They sent me an email that the phone has been dropped at the airport lost and found. I managed to get my phone the next day when my friend was leaving from Bangkok. Thank you Shama!!! I have stayed at this hotel 3 times that I have gone to Bangkok and as always beat my expectations.

From the second we arrived we were treated like we were made to feel li I e we were the most important people to ever stay at Shama, the staff were outstanding, the room facilities and cleanliness were faultless, the location was excellent and the infinity pool was breathtaking. One of the best stays at any hotel we have ever experienced. Total perfection.
