"This hotel is a gem. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it! The cozy rooms in this beautiful old building, comfy beds, peaceful surrounds, the most wonderful rooftop breakfast area, little garden and living room/reception. And, a clear low waste ethos. It has been our cocoon and a beautiful place to come ‘home’ to and relax in. Above all though, it is the staff who bring everything alive, humming and easy. The way they interact with us, their pride in their work and, how each person cares - true Mumbai culture which has made this stay extra special. Thank you all. We will be back. "

"Our stay at this hotel in Mumbai was disappointing overall. The room was very small and not comfortable for a family stay. There was visible mold on the walls, and the towels and bed sheets were extremely old and worn out — which made the stay feel unhygienic and unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room definitely needs improvement. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, though service was quite slow. With better maintenance and attention to cleanliness, this place could be improved, but in its current condition, I wouldn’t recommend it for families or longer stays. "
