"The hotel was the only one in the downtown area that I found offered a free shuttle service to/from the airport (as well as being able to drop off/pick up at sights in the area). The location is behind a youth center so is quiet and just around the bend from one of the main thoroughfares. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is nice with shower partitioned from the rest of the bathroom. The wifi is very slow and buffers a lot — but when in Brunei, do you really need to be connected all...

"The Brunei is unpretentious. yet provides excellent service not inferior to 5* hotels. Visiting the Sultanate during Ramadan was interesting and challenging and the Brunei managed to accommodate foreign tourists with great service and sensitivity. We are totally satisfied with our stay at The Brunei. "

Best to hire your own car if you are here or ensure you have the dart app. Lots of places to go and eat in centre which I’d recommend. Pool was closed! "

Quality of hotels is extremely limited and bare no comparison to hotels in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, or Indonesia. Similar standard for that which I experienced at least 60% cheaper in other countries mentioned."
