There are 3 Extended Stays in the Columbia area. This is by far the best one. The staff is pleasant. The area is peaceful and the rooms are clean. I wll chose this location everytime.

last minute booking after midnight, night staff was helpful and got me in a room right away. area seemed very clean and safe. mostly government offices all around it appeared.

The staff at this hotel were truly excellent—friendly, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, the building itself had multiple maintenance issues that affected my stay. There were problems with the showerhead and the button to activate it, the closet rails were coming off the floor, and the towel shelf was loose and nearly falling off the wall. The bed had a noticeable dent in it that made it uncomfortable to sleep on. There was also water leakage from another room’s shower that wasn’t cleaned up quickly enough and left water standing for too long. The team on-site did their best, but the room really needs repairs. With some renovations, this hotel could be a great option.

Pretty bad

Smells like cigarettes and fried food. It’s loud all night long. People are stomping all night and slamming their doors. Kids running in the hall ways until midnight. The desk attendant that we had to call to check us in was nice and the guy who checked me out in the AM was quick and efficient. We had no towels or soap in our room and we called for them but couldn’t not get any because there was no staff on.

The Front Desk staff (WHEN THEY WERE THERE) was friendly, Desk staf are NOT there 10pm to 10am. There was a Fire Alarm (false alarm thank God) about 11:45pm. THEN the couple in the room next to ours ( we were in Room 231) had a HUGE VERY LOUD fight about 2am for over an hour. We were frightened and very upxet. It was just the WORST - THE WORST - stay ever in more than 30 years of travelling. I will NEVER, NEVER stay in another Extended Stay anywhere - ANY WHERE.

I am a member of a family of three, including a four-year-old child. We recently embarked on the journey of becoming homeowners, but unfortunately, we encountered some unexpected issues with our new place, rendering it uninhabitable. Consequently, we had to seek alternative living arrangements to accommodate our needs. Instead of opting for a traditional lease, we decided to stay at the Columbia Gateway Extended Stay. Initially, we were unsure of what to expect from this location in terms of its child-friendly environment and amenities. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it not only catered to families but also provided a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and oven. Moreover, the staff at this location was exceptional, and the ongoing conversion to studio apartments added to its appeal. If you ever find yourself in need of temporary accommodation without the commitment of a long-term lease, I highly recommend considering the Columbia Gateway Extended Stay. It offers a comfortable and convenient living experience, ensuring that you do not feel trapped or restricted.

Literally no amenities kitchen with no utensils, pots pans, even though the signs say fully equipped kitchen, the toilet leaked shower leaked had to plunge the toilet when we plunged the toilet was loose. guests working on their car in the parking lot car parts laying on the ground one vehicle had four flat tires
