"A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour."

"This property is perfect! The house itself was perfectly laid out for our configuration and was clean and well presented. I had plenty of online warnings about low beams and still managed to bump my head!! The location was fantastic for Castletown and for the rest of the island. We would definitely stay here again. Spoke to staff in the office in Castletown and they were lovely! Customer service is fantastic!"

"We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. "

"The Sefton had friendly and helpful staff. They helped to explain the area, and even made sure to let me know fairly quickly when I left something in my room after checkout. The atrium was a pretty cool area to watch, and the breakfast was pretty nice standard English Breakfast. Although I got one of the smaller rooms, it may have been the biggest hotel room I've ever stayed in Europe, and definitely did not feel cramped. It's worth noting the hotel was a little bit older/ dated then some other ones. But at the time of the review, there was some renovations that were under way. (As a note, that did make entry/ exit a little more confusing). Overall, a good stay and would stay there again next time I'm in Douglas"
