Athol Park Guest House

"Just had a 3 day stay at Athol park guest house it is perfectly situated in the beautiful port Erin within walking distance of the beach. The room was lovely and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was amazing would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again loved it."

"Older property so some quirks as expected. Older style furniture. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot, varied and well stocked, the pool was lovely esp as I had it to myself. Managed to park in the underground carpark each day although the spaces are tight. Charged at £4/24hrs. The atrium is a lovely space."

"We had a side sea view room, clean and well maintained. Great room. Breakfasts good with top class ingredients. We ate once for the evening meal. The food was pricey and quality was poor. Overall a really good hotel with great staff and exceptionally clean."

"Great location, close to the beach and not far from fantastic public transport connections (bus, tram (horse drawn and electric) and a steam train. Complementary breakfast was a nice addition. Only issue was the exposure to passive smoking. This took place on the porch through the day and evening."

"Clean room but tiny and in need of updating. Good location on the promenade and the beach across the road. Breakfast was good and they were able to provide vegan options, and staff were very helpful. I would come back."

"The staff are as always are lovely and the food wonderful - quality, variety and quantity. Maybe signs making reference to noise levels in the room corridoors could prompt some guests to be aware of others. The bar is lovely, decor and clean and impeccable service but an idea could be to put sport on just one of the tv screens and maybe Sky news on the other with subtitles."
