"This house was perfect for our needs!!! The host was very helpful and communicated often, even allowing earlier than normal check in due to our arrival time flex!!!The property is just gorgeous!! The fenced in area is perfect for family & pets. But the views, OMG are amazing all around the house!!! The river right out front was beautiful and we saw a bald eagle, Fox with her Kits and deer everywhere!! Absolutely stunning!!!The house is very nice and layout is perfect for everyone to feel cost and connected as well as have their own space when needed, both porches are huge and plenty of room to enjoy the outside areas. The front porch is screed in and allowed for our “boys” (dogs) to stay out with us while enjoying the riverside. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of blankets for not only the humans but the animals too! (Very nice just touch)Of note: 1 - BEDS- the beds are extremely firm, so you will need to bring a mattress pad if you want any cushioning while you sleep. 2 - ANIMALS - if you have older dogs or animals with stability issues, the ramp on the front of the house is awesome!!! You will however, need to bring carpet runners or mats as the whole house is hard wood floors. (The Dollar Store is about 5 minutes away and got runners that allowed our boys to move freely without injury). 3 - WATER - they have RO water system for the kitchen - super nice feature!We loved our stay and hope to stay there again next year!!! "

"Everything was wonderful, heated floors in bathrooms was such a bonus when exiting the hot tub or shower! Water does have a sulfur (rotten egg) smell. So you may want to bring water bottles but other that that everything was wonderful. Fully stocked, and probably the best stocked property I've ever stayed at. "

"This is a great place to disconnect and listen to nature. The cabin with covered patio is really comfortable and well stocked. There is plenty of beauty in the area and fun roads if you really enjoy driving.BE WARNED: there is no cell service and no internet and it's almost 30 minutes into town. The last mile or so is a private road and not county maintained so it is rougher than the host says. I would not take anything lower than a mid size SUV or you may scrape on some parts of the road."

"The cabin was cozy and had everything any of the four of us could ever imagine. Down to toothpicks and shampoos for men and women. A hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. We were greeted in the driveway by Captain Dave, who asked if we needed anything before even entering the cabin. What accommodations! A pool table, 3 bedrooms to choose from, all equally comfortable as the next. If you read the details on his site you won’t b surprised about anything. I see that the people that rated the cabin less than perfect either didn’t know how to read, or were never going to be satisfied anywhere. We will definitely stay with ada e and Angie any time we come back. Because I can’t imagine how anywhere else would even compare! "
