"We were upgraded to a corner balcony with a perfect view of the Entrance to the Balboa Pier and a beautiful Full moon that shown on the water! Also, it was Prom Night and there were gorgeous Ball Gowns on all the lovely young ladies with there very handsome and well-behaved young men!"

"I was disappointed with my stay at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. The property feels very outdated and did not meet the standards I expect from a Hyatt Regency. The rooms and common areas showed significant wear and lacked the modern, upscale atmosphere advertised in the photos. The amenities felt inexpensive and below what I would consider appropriate for a hotel in this price range. The toiletries appeared low quality, and overall the experience felt more budget-oriented than luxury. Several aspects of the room gave the impression that corners were being cut rather than providing a premium guest experience. For the rates charged, I expected cleaner, more updated accommodations and better attention to detail. The hotel has potential due to its location, but the property itself needs renovation and investment to justify its pricing and brand reputation. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again unless significant updates are made to the rooms, amenities, and overall guest experience."

"This house and location was perfect! It was just as advertised. Communication was great, plenty of extra pillows and blankets, kitchen was well stocked, and it was very clean. Parking is a challenge if you are driving a large SUV, and you need to bring your own beach equipment. We will definitely look at renting here again!"

"Spacious and clean property with ocean views right next to Balboa Pier, the Fun Zone, and the ferry. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys. The layout was perfect for our family time. We enjoyed hearing the waves crash from the balcony. We will definitely return."

"Wonderful location and a cute little apartment. It had everything we needed and just steps from the beach. The only thing, dishes need serious upgrade and maybe some of the furniture too;) parking is available in the garage, which was super convenient."

"Great ocean front location close to the Balboa Pier, restaurants, and shops on the quiet end of the peninsula. The grass area is great for kids and pets, and the patio is great for outdoor dining, lounging, and people watching. The property is well appointed and has everything you need (beach chairs, bikes, games) to enjoy a stay at the beach. We had a group of 4 to 6, had plenty of space, and really enjoyed our stay. Great host. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others!"
