The apartment is on the first floor and is all on one level. Picture windows look out into the street below, which makes it great for people watching. You can see the woodland cascading down the hill on the horizon.

The apartment is accessed via a staircase in this grade 2 listed building.

Cobblers Rest is one of 3 apartments in this building so if you cannot find the availability in Cobblers Rest please take a look at The Eaves & Old Beams or you may wish to book all 3 for a family gathering.

Bakewell has very poor signal so we encourage all guests to ensure you have your journey details printed or at least understand where you are going before leaving home.

Just as described Central Location. Parking space is provided on a car park 50 yards down the street behind the apartments/shops and a bit of a treck but easy to find from the instructions provided. If you are not very able bodied there is no cut through from car park to apartments , but no problem if you are OK and not too much luggage. Lovely apartment, nicely furnished, lovely comfortable furnishings and beds. Although for me personally if you wanted to eat in there is no table and chairs.As the apartment is on the main route through Bakewell, it is extremely noisy as only single glazed windows and at times the volume of traffic is very high. I did expect this to subside during the night but the traffic is still quite busy, so if you are looking for a peaceful night's sleep this is not the apartment for you as the noise is constant most of the night by 5.30 to 6.00 in the morning it is full traffic on the road by this time. If you can put up with the traffic noise outside Bakewell is a beautiful place and this is a lovely apartment.
