We absolutely lucked out in finding this gem on Expedia. We enjoyed visiting with fantastic staff and followed their recommendations on several things. Our room was serviced each morning while we enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast with fresh fruit. If we had known how special the Top Deck restaurant was for supper, we would have definitely eaten there more often. The seafood pot pie and lemon blueberry mascarpone cake, carmelized on top, and served a la mode has to be experienced. Quiet and off the beaten path with nature trails, kayaks, and bikes, not to mention a floating sauna. 100/100 recommend

Staff goes out of their way for the customer. Pool was nice and surprisingly not busy. Restaurant on site was very good and so was the complimentary breakfast. Will definitely stay there our next trip.

Great resort! Been there about 4 years ago and it was better than it was then. Beautiful location, great accommodations, and great staff. Best buffet breakfast. It's on 130 acres with great well maintained trails. Everything about Gordon Lodge is exceptional!

The property is very well maintained with lots of activities to do on the property. The view from our cabin was perfect. The included breakfast was also a nice perk. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the room would be cleaned every day and made the mistake of leaving my jewelry out the first day.

We booked a waterfront room here at the last minute for a quick getaway. This place is amazing. The hotel accommodations themselves are comfortable and modest. The overall experience takes you back to a 1970’s family beach vacation. Our room had a patio overlooking Lake Michigan with a small table and chairs, the view of North Bay with its Caribbean blue color is stunning. The included buffet style breakfast is a treat in itself. A clean beach area with nice kayaks as well as a boating dock. Miles of walking trails and bikes are available too. We plan on making an early summer booking an annual event. We asked ourselves how could we have overlooked this place so many times while visiting Door County.

Everything was great,but the patio really isn't private. Maybe at least put a barrier screen on patio,so their is some privacy when both parties are out. Because this is a duplex. The trails were great,maybe have a you are here sign every so often would really help. Maybe put something grip like on bottom of tub for safety. Otherwise would recommend, what a beautiful place. The free breakfast was appreciated also.
