"I hate to give 2 stars to such a good property with good rooms , excellent heritage vibes and with all facilities but staff and service was terrible. As we entered our luggage was unloaded and brought to our room for more than an hr. Room phones werent working so had to go to desk to get internet started. Anything you request from staff and front desk would take forever to be entertained even breakfast service the waiter forgot our orders and vallet service is non existent.

The location is brilliant - it’s set right in the centre of the city within striking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The area is a historic and densely populated part of Jaipur a diverse areas including traditional residential properties, markets, and historical sites. While the area immediately around the hotel may face challenges associated with informality or poverty, I strongly disagree to the statement I read in a customer review somewhere that this hotel was in the middle of a slum. That is unfair and untrue - the area felt safe and is reflected of the city and country, one of the fastest growing economies in the world - full of extremes. If you’re uncomfortable with that maybe look at yourself and why you’re uncomfortable with this rather than unfairly catorgorising a neighbourhood and the people who live and work there.
The hotel at the time we stayed was still relatively new and had a few teething issues which they welcomed feedback on to improve. They are keen to make the best of this place so I’m sure once they into the stride will grow from strength to strength.
