"Lovely property, beautifully furnished in an elegant style. Nice bar around the corner open till late, but needed to go into the city to find somewhere to eat
Our only issue was the advertised pool was not open, though clearly had been
When we asked about it the owner said no
We went down to the pool area to sit out and he was there covering it up so clearly had been open"

"The owners were really accommodating, we had early starts everyday and they made sure we had breakfast available before we left. The property is very clean and tidy, and the pool area was nice and quiet. As a family of four we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this BnB if you are visiting Tuscany"

"Absolute perfection! Beautiful, spotless clean.
Most of all, Vicky, Pietro and whole staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would highly recommend Villa Corte Degli Dei."

"We were greeted with a warm and attentive welcome by Rosio which was a great way to begin our stay in Lucca. Our immaculate room and bathroom were big and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing and delicious with many choices to chose from.
It was an easy walk to the historic center. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it!"

"Beautiful, modern hotel with a large outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool and spa - and lovely rooftop bar/ restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful and just about everyone, from front desk to bars and restaurants, speaks English."
"We stayed 5 nights. The complimentary breakfasts were great with a big variety. The folks at the front desk were super accommodating helping us get taxis and anything else. Rooms were nice. They don’t let the AC get too low here. It’s probably about 80 in the room on a hot day so warmer than I would set the temp at. But there was a heat wave going on. Overall , we would come back."
Hermitage Hotel & Resort Forte dei Marmi – Starhotels Collezione
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in June 2026 and we learned that new ownership / management had just opened the month prior following a renovation / spruce up.
Having had the privilege to stay in some nice hotels over the years, this one stands out as my all-time favorite. The grounds are stunning and large amidst a rather dense resort town. Proximity to center of Forte was great — we typically walked (15 mins), but we did use the on demand shuttle service which never took more than 5 minutes from when we called.
You can tell every last element of the hotel’s decor and design was carefully curated with a nostalgic nod to Italian design and culture - the result is understated 5-star elegance.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was beautiful, impeccably clean, and spacious. Bathroom was stunning, large and functional (great water pressure). Bed was A+. Large balcony.
We spent a lot of time at the pool which was beautifully set amongst the landscape and equipped with ample comfortable loungers lined with lush towels. The bar / restaurant next to the pool served tasty drinks and food.
In addition to the staff’s warmth and kindness, they all took pride in their work. It was our first trip abroad with our 6 month old, and we notified the hotel just before arriving that we would need a crib — we arrived to the room and a beautiful, photoshoot worth crib awaited. The staff was so accommodating in making sure we had everything we needed for our baby.
Already figuring out when we can come back."
"A great property. I've stayed there many nights over the last five years and always have a good experience. Good facitlity, good staff, close to the train station (15 minute walk), and good restaurants in the area"
"It was very useful having such extensive and free parking. Every member of staff that we dealt with was polite, helpful and could not have done more to make our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was better than many other hotels I have stayed in. All areas where f the hotel were clean and well maintained. The car park needs a bit of upgrading. The area at the front of the hotel was a pleasant area to meet friends and have a drink. We had one evening meal at the hotel which was very good. I would like to see more choices and perhaps daily changes. For me the highlight has to be the exceptionally kind and considerate staff. Good location for exploring the area but you do need a car."
"Really lovely property! Outdoor jacuzzi was lush, as was the seating area. The room was nice, airy and open, and was handy to have the hob and microwave.
The staff are helpful and kind. Can’t complain about location as it’s close to the shops and the beach. Beware that it is rather expensive to go to the beach bars, and towel hire at the hotel came to €20 euros for one day of hiring for us (although it said €5 euros per day so should’ve been max €10). Other than that, very nice experience. Would recommend!"
