"Quiet off street parking,lots of neighborhood kitties to play with, comfortable chair in room no threat of wolverine attacks nearby, building had a roof Incase of rain,store across street open sold ice cream,and COLD BEER front desk stocked with plenty 5s and singles to facilitate a floating after hours craps game,plenty of clean towels for scorching Texas heat, zeppelin rides to airport upon request and 2 stair cases stratiglly placed apart Incase the US MARSHALL is closing in "

"While my ratings reflect my experience, I want to first say the bed was comfortable and the A/C was very good, which is my minimum requirement. When I pulled in, all the vehicles were pickup trucks, which hinted at low cost rooms for contractors, so I had realistic expectations. It's an old property in disrepair and the room was bare minimum. The tv didn't function, the flooring and walls showed exposed concrete in places, the trim between the bathroom and living area was gone and the gap was full of debris. To be fair, you get what you pay for and it was bare minimum acceptable. I needed a place to sleep and I got it. The woman was nice enough, but insisted on a cash deposit of $30...from behind a glass barrier, a hint at the neighborhood. That said, I did get my deposit back, although the next morning the gentleman produced the wrong receipt for my room number. It was from the previous guy who demanded a refund. Bottom line, keep your expectations low and accept it for what it is and you'll be ok. It's best for tradesmen trying to keep costs down while on a job, or like me, a guy just needing a comfy bed with A/C for a few hours sleep while traveling."

"This is a unique hotel. The building is multi use as there are apartments, student housing, and hotel rooms in the same building. The virtual check in was simple as we got an email once we could check in and it explained everything we needed to know to park, get into the building, and get into our room. We were lucky because the property manager was in the lobby when we arrived and she was very nice and helpful! The room was great! Lots of space! The room had a refrigerator (hidden in a cabinet) that worked well (instructions were easy to follow). The television was a good size and once I went into settings and reconnected it to the wifi (one click) I found it loaded with lots of entertainment choices! The room advertises a microwave, there was none in the room, but there is a common kitchen area on the 2nd floor and there were two microwaves there for us to use. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower is very large. If I had any complaints about the room it would be the lack of a shelf in the shower and the very very close space between the toilet and door when you need to close the shower/toilet area door. The sink area is very modern and spacious and the towels are very very nice. The saltwater pool was inviting. It is very sunny at the pool so the rails and tiles get hot, but once you’re in it’s very pleasant. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay! I would highly recommend."
