I love the layout of the rooms at Homewood Suites. Two beds, a small kitchen and the view of the lake ( and all the ducks) from the little living room at sunrise was so peaceful! So, functionally, its a great place to stay. The furniture in the room is pretty trashed though. Its all scratched and the bedding is low quality. Very much looks like oil field crews usually occupy most of the building so my guess is no one else cares how nice any of that is/ looks. The price was on the high end for me, but it was worth it to have my own bed and the living room to work in early in the morning while everyone else was still sleeping.

The hotel was excellent for the amount we spent. The hotel was safe and clean although the room itself showed signs of wear. For example, the dishwasher was broken, the molding on the door was separated, and the coffee table was quite wobbly. The hotel staff did promptly provide us with clean dishes as the dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher from the previous guests. The space in the suite met the needs of our family and allowed us time and space to play games and eat dinner together. Room number 105 is right next to the side entrance and exit of the hotel. We often heard the door slamming shut. After a while we got used to this loud sound. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast with a Texas twist- tortillas and salsas along with a Texas shaped waffle iron! For the price, we would stay here again.

Good hotel that needs serious updating

Service and breakfast were good. I enjoy having the separate room of the suite, but the whole room needs updating(grout is cracked and breaking, kitchen cabinets and baseboard are very worn). When we arrived, the toilet was broken but the hotel quickly fixed it.
