"hotel was well situated in a quiet location with restaurants nearby. Rooms were very clean, but small, taking a Shower is a challenge in the small shower cubicle but plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable . we were only left half a toilet roll which is being a bit tight! overall for an overnight stay on a budget the hotel was good and I would stay there again "

"Really liked the grounds and how private the areas were. Really enjoyed the hot tub in the limestone cave. Would have liked having someone on site that could make dinner reservations or provide recommendations regarding wineries or other activities. We also would have appreciated knowing that breakfast needed 30 min or more notice. Towels were not very soft. Room was very nice and bed was quite comfortable."

"We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with...
