"No real instructions given on arrival. Room was the one with worst possible view and near construction in rooms next door. Hotel was great location but had a hard time enjoying the ocean from room. Supplies were not left for a 5 night stay."

"My wife and I absolutely love staying at the Inn at Avila Beach. It has become one of our favorite little getaways. From the moment we arrive, everything just feels welcoming and relaxed. One of our favorite traditions is the pie hour from 7 to 8 p.m. It is such a simple touch, but it makes the stay feel extra special. Grabbing a slice together in the evening is something we genuinely look forward to every time. Breakfast in the morning is just as impressive. The ham and Swiss croissants are amazing, warm, flaky, and full of flavor. It is the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and enjoy the morning. We also love the room we usually book. It is comfortable, cozy, and perfect for the two of us. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back, and we absolutely plan to continue making this place part of our regular trips."

"Great location, close to the Promenade and the water. There's no ocean view since it's behind another unit. It's great for 1 or 2 people. It includes all the basics - pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. and a few K-cups for the Keurig. The shady patio out back would be ideal for summer. Also nice that it includes a parking space since parking can be a challenge during the warmer months. Host was responsive and provided everything needed. "

"The Coral House was clean and well equipped with everything for our stay, and it was close to downtown but doesn't have an ocean view as indicated. The host was very responsive too. I personally wasn't familiar with this type of wall heating system so perhaps the host can print out some step by step instructions for future guests, and put them in a welcome booklet on the coffee table as that would be helpful. We eventually figured it out, but it was a little chilly upon our arrival. We would definitely stay there again. "
