"pet-friendly, quaint, close to bathrooms and pool"

"We were passing through on a road trip, and we only stayed one night, but I wish I had longer to stay in the area. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Our arrival was a little later than we thought we would be due to bad weather. They left the key in the room for us, which was very nice and convenient for checking in after 9pm. The room was clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable and the place has great character. Had a nice quiet morning sitting on the porch chairs outside the room which was a very nice way to start the morning before heading out on the road again."

"The cabin is clean, bathroom sparkling. Staff were welcoming, friendly, approachable, and helpful. Pet friendly with no hassles, comparatively small fee. Family friendly, Delicious!, hot breakfast (free entrée in lodge restaurant). We arrived very late, so checked in over the phone with no hassles. Not so great is the 10am check out for cabins. Strange, somewhat long, steep steps down to most cabins were difficult for those with disabilities to traverse. If needed, ask for cabin with fewer steps or if they have one that is fully accessible. Overall, we enjoyed it so much we stayed two extra days."

"Older hotel but in decent condition. Minimal selection for the free breakfast, nothing that I could eat. "

"Lovely place in a nice spot on the lake. The grand lobby and restaurant in the resort were wonderful with panoramic views of Kentucky Lake. The room i stayed in was spacious with very comfy beds, lots of pillows and good A/C! I enjoyed taking walks around the property. It was a bit of a commute to get to my lower level, lake view room but the weather was beautiful so it was fine. Id definitely return!"
