The Space:
Set over two levels with one bedroom at street level with living and kitchen and extending to decks on all three sides. Lower level is three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one being an ensuite to the master room which also enjoys a private deck set amongst the trees. A further lower level encompasses a laundry room.
There are several outside zones for chilling or entertaining.
Guest Access:
Easy to find being off the end of Ponsonby road and located on the corner of Swift Ave. Plenty of street parking but also has a roll away fence/gate from Swift Ave should you want a secure parking pad
The Neighborhood:
A peaceful gentrified neighbourhood of high value single dwelling homes, most being renovated villas.
Yet only several minutes walk to the vibrant Ponsonby Road which is the iconic shopping and entertainment strip in Auckland which extends some 1.5km to the gritty K Road (Karangahape Road) which boasts more cuisine and late night venues
Getting Around:
Legs are good to be able to take in the surroundings. Uber is usually a couple of minutes away and Lime scooters dot this locality.
Other Things to Note:
Walkway past the marina into city is within 100 meters

Excellent location for the city, spacious house in beautiful neighbourhood
The house is very spacious and is well equipped. It’s not glamorous nor is everything in perfect condition, the house is a character home, but there was plenty of everything we needed, bedding, towels, space, a lovely kitchen, wifi for the teenagers, lovely secluded outside areas. It was clean and the host was helpful.
The neighbourhood is absolutely gorgeous and parking was easy (except for when someone blocked the gate, which was unfortunate). It’s a picturesque 20 minute walk to the city centre, with harbour bridge and sky tower views, and an Uber back was less than $12 on the night we used one (cheaper than parking).
We definitely hope to stay again when we return to the city,

You won’t regret staying here
It’s a nice vintage home. The location is great, about a 10 minute walk up the hill to shops, restaurants and historical buildings.
We had a key issue that was addressed quickly, communications were very prompt.
If you’re looking for glitz this isn’t for you. If you want a cozy, comfortable place for the family this is for you.

100% will book this place again
If you’re a first timer at booking a place like myself, I 100% suggest this place because the process is so easy. The host left us be to check in and out. My partner and I also got their earlier and we were given permission to put in our luggages and what not despite the cleaners still being there. The place also, was REALLY nice. My cousins and I loved it! They had all the equipments and utilities you could possibly need to in the kitchen and me and the girls absolutely LOVED one thing in particular, they had big bottles of shampoo and conditioner there which was GREAT as my cousins and I were visiting the beach every day. Overall, I loved the place, it was beautiful and clean. The checking in and out process was just as easy and the Hosts did not bother us at all but also ensured they were there for us whenever we needed any help (they responded super quick to any questions I had at all). 11/10, would book again! 👍
