Little gem in the Countryside outside Auckland
This place is awesome! A whole little house to yourself and so quiet. Even a friendly tui to visit you while having a delicious breakfast.The hosts were so nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and wished it would have been longer than just one night!

Wonderful cottage with amazing views and amenities. The hosts are absolutely delightful and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay - we liked it so much we are already booked in a second time.

Plenty of room in the property and a lovely view from the decked area. Although there was no proper kitchen (no cooker) there is plenty of equipment provided to sort food if you require. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough. They also came up with a couple of recommendations, one of which was the ferry from Pine Harbour to Auckland waterfront rather than drive. Coming to the city from the water was a great way to approach and left us with no parking worries. Trip was a great day out. Thank you both for a great stay.

Just to clarify: there is actually an electric cooking pan as well as a double electric cooking plate but no oven, you are right. We did offer to help you if you had more complicated dishes. Wonderful in every respect!
Our hosts - including the two dogs - were delightful, and our suite was beautiful - clean, spacious, well appointed, and with a spectacular view of the valley below - exactly as shown in the promotional photo! We wish we could have stayed longer, and would definitely stay there again!

Stunning
Amazing place to stay, peaceful and what views from the top of the ridge. Best option is to plan to cook or BBQ as the local town is a little quite. Mariette and Iman are wonderful hosts, they could not do enough.

Peaceful location with great view and in easy reach/of the airport. Hosts were welcoming and helpful without being at all intrusive. Plan on using the limited, but well equipped, kitchen facilities and BBQ for a simple dinner on the beautiful deck. If you are lucky, the hosts may even help with the vegetables! But remember that local shops close at 5pm — there is a coop with interesting quality food. Also a good local restaurant which we did not try. Hosts provided a very nice continental breakfast.

This was the nicest b&b we have ever stayed at. Majestic view, pastoral scene, love the sheep, quiet, no traffic to look at. Cottage wonderfully supplied and so pampered and spoiled by the hosts!

Wow, what a lovely experience! spectacular panoramic views!! Wonderful hosts and a delightful, homely , comfortable, separate apartment, with much attention to detail. We were very well looked after! Incredible! Just book it!
It was just INCREDIBLE! The cottage was an ideal space to relax and rest after our long flight to New Zealand. Impeccably clean and idyllic. Never miss breakfast because it was one of the absolute bests (oh the croissants!). The hosts go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and fed. Excellent start to our vacation. We will definitely try to be back.

5* I highly recommend Clevedon Ridge B&B. The incredibly welcoming hosts clearly enjoy sharing their gorgeous corner of rural NZ - evident in their warm personas & the extra treats (biscuits, chocs, juice, etc.) accompanying the impeccably clean, homely unit & the leave the dishes 'rule'. I was on crutches & although my sister was there to support me, the owners went out of their way to help ensure I could move about with ease & safety. The breakfast was plentiful, including home preserved peaches & marmalade: yum! A huge thank you to Iman & Mariette for making our stay so memorable; we are already looking at future stays at this lovely home away from home.

Beautiful cottage with great view of night sky
The cottage is lovely and charming. It is peaceful and quiet away from the city. We sat at the patio to stargaze and enjoyed the beautiful nightview. Wish we could have stayed longer :)

As soon as we arrived Mariette and Iman made us feel welcome. They were so warm and friendly - it made the stay a lovely experience. I would totally recommend staying there. Best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at.

I loved staying at here.
I had a wonderful experience here and feel like I made two friends. Mariette and Iman are such warm and welcoming hosts and where I stayed was super clean and calm and a perfect introduction to the NZ countryside. The views can't be beat. And I loved that it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet close enough to pop to all Auckland's attractions. Every morning there was a tasty breakfast and the kitchen and whole house was perfectly set-up for a very comfortable stay. I loved the furry sidekicks - Katie, Monty and Rhubarb who I could visit at the main house and the donkeys Jupiter and Jamie. I felt very welcome but also able to do my own thing and enjoyed the local walks and going to the coast. I would highly recommend this beautiful home in the tranquile NZ countryside. Thank you Mariette and Iman.

Beautiful serenity in Clevedon
Wonderful experience with Iman and Mariette. This B&B is thoughtful and authentic with a charming attention to detail. The continental breakfast was great and always on time and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need. We got the extra bed which was nice and the main bedroom bed was just perfect. To top it all off the private deck with the wonderful view provided a picturesque backdrop of an Auckland that should be experienced by all. The hosts were exceptional and attentive to our needs and gave our stay that personal element. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Hi Alex, many thanks for your feedback. Sorry that you had trouble on entering the property. This is purely to secure the wooden gate when closing it and at 6cm high has never before caused any grief to anyone. Your car engine must be positioned exceptionally low. Pleased you enjoyed your stay however and thank you for staying with us.
