"Really basic and tight for four of us but fine for a pit stop. Austere looking building which the kids thought looked like a prison, but very clean and breakfast was good. "
"Amazing B&B with everything you could wish for. We only stayed one night but it’s perfect for longer stays, offering guests the chance to have a self catering holiday too! Guillaume is a super friendly host and we were very impressed with the amenities "
"Great one night stay during our road trip in France. Apartment is spacious, beds are comfortable (even sofa). There is a kitchen area (that we did not use but it looks well equipped). Fast WiFi, good breakfast, friendly staff, large parking. Location is Somewhat in outskirt of the city but it helps to avoid traffic. "
"Very friendly and helpful staff and barman.
Excellent evening meal. Good choice.
Would stay again.
Very convenient for our en route journey south.
A big thank you to all the staff.

"Dreadful smell in the reception/ dining area. All publuc areas very tired and looked / felt dirty. Bedroom was tiny and bathroom was so smslll your knees were rubbing against the wall when using the toilet! Bedroom seemed clean but carpet not so much.
Just needs money spent on it. The area itself was quiet but odd - various hotels all together but all run down and grotty looking. Would not stay in this hotel or this area again."
"Good for stopover before carrying on to Cherbourg. Ange Boulangerie just across the road is good for breakfast? and for dinner Favela Restaurant is just across the road too. Good for kids menu too. "

"We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful property in a stunning location! It really is a special place and we’d love to come back again.Just a couple of things to mention that might help future guests: bed linen and towels aren’t included (we only found this out the week before and ended up paying extra for linen). The billiards table is actually French billiards rather than a pool table (also mentioned in listing - would recommend removing this) which our younger family members were a bit disappointed about. The house is lovely, but there are quite a lot of personal belongings in the wardrobes and cupboards, so space for hanging longer clothes is a little limited as rails are provided along with drawers. The bathrooms were all clean and in good order, though the kitchen could have been a touch cleaner. Luckily the weather was amazing, so we spent most of our time outside enjoying the sunshine, walks, and the river for kayaking. All in all, it’s a really happy, memorable place to stay — we made some lovely memories here and would definitely love to return! The history of the area itself and the house is fascinating. Anyone looking to book here won’t be disappointed. Whilst some people have commented on it being rural, it is around 15 minutes walk to the train station to get to Nantes and there are plenty of other places to visit on foot or by car "
